Twelve years ago, maverick bear expert Ben Kilham began studying black bears, successfully hand-raising cubs and returning them to the wild. But Kilham’s methods are controversial in the scientific community.
After raising 50 black bear cubs, he is now setting out to prove that these bears are far more intelligent and social than scientists currently believe. Follow Ben into the woods of New Hampshire as he reveals the social interaction of these bears and attempts to demonstrate the intelligence of this marvellous creature.
Can he produce scientific data to support his theories and help fill in some of the mystery that surrounds black bears?
