Episode 488
Pheko decides to take Tshepo's name. Catherine goes to consult Mushaba about Malume Khumalo's whereabouts. Pheko is house hunting. Palesa gets a chance to educate James about books. James warns Ndalamo about Doobsie. Peter and Humbulani have a very public argument. Lebo gets a surprise visit from a record producer.

Episode 489
Lisa tells Ndalamo that Vho-Mukondeleli knew exactly what she was doing with the selling of the land. Ndalamo overhears Peter Matlala speak fluent Venda and is incensed that he has been hiding his identity.
Thandaza is taken offguard by Pheko in his office when he gives in to the attraction between the two of them and kisses her. She storms out, deeply rattled, only to bump into Doobsie who immediately sees a weakened Thandaza and tries to press her into a corner about the courtcase.
Doobsie is so worried about the courtcase that Ndalamo offers to accompany her every day to court. Doobsie freaks as she cannot let him know about the paternity tests and lies. She refuses his offer and Ndalamo leaves, the atmosphere is distinctly cool between the two of them.

Episode 490
Advocate Kutumela warns Dr Lefu to present himself to the medical council. Azwindini confronts Humbulani about her relationship with Peter. Catherine is relieved when she finds out that Pheko is not seeing Thandaza anymore. Qavile starts work at Mukwevho Milling. Azwindini finds out that Vho-Mukondeleli has bought a new house along with her car.

Episode 491
Peter verbally attacks Dr Leabua about Humbulani in front of customers at Etwatwa. James learns that Doobsie's still planning uthuswa. Vho-Makhadzi and Vho-Nenzhelele think that Catherine and the Mokoenas are taking over at Mukwevho - especially Azwindini's affairs.
Palesa is shocked when she realizes that the interview candidate Kukie is deaf but Meme saves the day. James tries to beg Doobsie. Lebo tells Humbulani about the fight earlier and Humbulani goes to confront Dr Leabua.
James desperately begs Albert for their intervention with the uthuswa. Pelo tells Humbulani that Dr Leabua also paid for the salon renovations.

Episode 492
The uncles cancel Busi's naming ceremony. Rudzani is considering changing his career path. Azwindini confronts Vho-Mukondeleli about her house. Dr Leabua walks in on Humbulani and Peter. Mushaba threatens to expose Vho-Nenzhelele.

Episode 493
Ndalamo apologises to Peter. Thandaza is nervous about the court case. Meme tells Pheko that one of the workers has been caught stealing. Pheko finally accepts that his relationship with Thandaza is over. Doobsie tries to discourage Ndalamo from sitting in on her court case.

Episode 494
It is the first day of court. Peter presents the new evidence to the judge. Susan congratulates Mushaba and Vho-Mukondeleli on their marriage. Catherine catches Agnes and Rudzani together at Etwatwa. Catherine advises Doobsie not to cut James out of his daughter's life. Ndalamo starts to see another side of Doobsie. Dr Leabua gives Dr Lefu some advice about the illegal blood tests. Agnes gets home late and Catherine explodes.

Episode 495
Agnes and Rudzani decide to go to Venda together. Catherine testifies at the court hearing. Vho-Masindi asks Azwindini's permission to attend a funeral. Malcolm's new P.A. arrives for work. The judge rules that the case can be reopened and orders new DNA tests to be done. Ndalamo sees Doobsie's true colours.

Episode 496
Peter whisks Humbulani away to Venda, leaving Lebo in charge. Dr Leabua arrives to see Humbulani but finds her gone. He pushes Lebo to tell him who told Humbulani about him paying for the renovations of both the salon and the restaurant. Lebo caves and gives him Pelo's name.
Doobsie is on a bad streak, her behaviour stirring doubts in the mind of Advocate Kutumela and Ndalamo. Agnes asks her mother if she can go to Venda and Catherine agrees. Peter drops Humbulani off just outside Thathe. It might be that at last he is ready to face his past. He is home.... in Venda.

Episode 497
Ndalamo tries to make peace with Doobsie but she's not interested. Everyone is shocked to see who is representing the fired worker. Ntswaki quits her job and goes back to the factory floor. Azwindini confronts Peter. Ndalamo moves in with Thandaza.

Episode 498
Vho-Makhadzi corners Vho-Mukondeleli and accuses her about having a hand in getting Susan to stop the wedding. Ntswaki resigns and challenges Pheko about Qavile's informal appointment.
Vho-Mushaba and Vho-Mukondeleli secretly get married and surprise everybody but more especially Vho-Makhadzi who is flabbergasted and suspicious about them.
Pheko fishes about the exact nature of Qavile's appointment and confirms Ntswaki's claims from an unrepentant Doobsie. Ndalamo surprises Albert with the best news and confides in him about his intention to marry Thandaza.

Episode 499
Doobsie feels like her world is falling apart when Ndalamo breaks up with her. Mukondeleli and Mushaba move into the new house and Albert fumes when he finds out that Pheko fired a Venda senior foreman.

Episode 500
Agnes feels guilty about pulling the wool over Catherine's eyes. Catherine and Tshepo are apprehensive about facing off with the Mukwevhos. Vho-Makhadzi is put out by Agnes's visit to Venda so soon after the wedding. Thandaza confides in Ntswaki about her involvement with Ndalamo.
On James's advice, Albert and Phalandwa approach Ntswaki about investigating the way the Venda foreman was fired. Doobsie is shocked when Ndalamo finally ends their relationship.

Episode 501
Thandaza can't wait for the blood tests to come back. James and Palesa share an intimate moment. The Mokoenas are surprised when the Chief pitches up for the board meeting. Pheko is accused of firing the foreman because he is Venda. Vho-Mukondeleli runs into Agnes and Rudzani in Venda. There is a surprise visitor at the board meeting. Catherine finds out that Agnes is in Venda with Rudzani.

Episode 502
Malume Khumalo arrives at Doobsie's house but still no details about his vanishing act can be drawn from him. The board meets about the dismissal of the Venda foreman, but Malume Khumalo'S vote seals the fate of the man, when his vote is the decisive vote in favour of his dismissal.
Ndalamo and Thandaza arrive at Doobsie's house to tell her that they are now a couple.

Episode 503
Doobsie confronts Ndalamo in public. Catherine and Agnes sort out their issues. Advocate Kutumela wants the truth, Doobsie breaks down. Vho-Makhadzi smells a rat with the firing of Thendo Mekula. Doobsie takes out her anger at Thandaza, Thandaza tries to defend herself to no avail.
Rudzani wants to buy into Etwatwa, he has a brilliant idea - he will be the Maitre D'. James consoles Doobsie. Dr Lefu pleads Malcolm to help, Kukie comes to his rescue.
Rudzani is put into a test when Agnes finds him working at Etwatwa. Thandaza and Pheko share a moment in the lift. Ndalamo sees Thandaza with Pheko and he makes it clear who she belongs to now.
