NEW SA SHOWS
High School Musical: Spotlight South AfricaPremiere: Saturday 2 August at 19h00
M-Net’s new reality show, High School Musical: Spotlight South Africa, is a worldwide reality first. Based on the Disney Original movie, viewers will be choosing their own Troy and Gabriella who will move on to play the leads in a stage musical, produced by Pieter Toerien and Hazel Feldman.
The first three episodes will feature the auditions held in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Johannesburg.
Thereafter the episodes focus on how the creative panel - producer Pieter Toerien, choreographer Lorcia Cooper, theater director Paul Warwick Griffin and musical director Charl Johan Lingenfelder - hone the talents of the Top 40 at special workshops.
Viewers will be able to vote for their favourites as from 16 August.
New episodes of the show will be broadcast twice a week: on Saturdays and Mondays at 19h00.

Clash of the Choirs enlists five musical superstars - Michael Bolton, Patti LaBelle, Nick Lachey, Kelly Rowland and Blake Shelton - to embark on a musical challenge: to create the greatest choir in America.
The entertainers each try to bring together 20 gifted vocalists from their respective hometowns and in a limited amount of time are expected to mould the individual raw talents into a single, harmonious singing group.

The Riches 2Premiere date: Sunday 24 August at 22h00
Blackmail. Murder. And back to life in the RV. The Malloys, after successfully passing themselves off as The Riches in Season 1, a yuppie family living in suburban America, face big trouble in Season 2.
Wayne Malloy (Eddie Izzard) tries to clean up the mess in Eden Falls while his con artist family hits the road but the Malloys find the old pleasures of the road and the Traveler way of life hard to get back into.
Dahlia (played by Minnie Driver) and the kids Cael (played by Noel Fisher), Di Di (played by Shannon Woodward) and Sam (played by Aidan Mitchell) don't feel like professional cons anymore. They got used to life in Eden Falls and are now lost and unsteady when forced to live by their wits.
When Wayne raises the possibility of returning to pull off one Last Great Con that could earn them enough money to stop running and conning forever, the Malloys decide to roll the dice but Wayne's attempt to protect his family while continuing his quest to steal the American Dream proves to be more challenging than the Malloys could ever suspect.
