Dear TVSA Diary

I write this in total disbelief that Wendall is the winner, over Luclay. Actually I can't believe Wendall won Big Brother Amplified. Period.

Although, Luclay wasn't my favourite, I must even confess that he was ROBBED. Be it by the BBAmplied powers that be, the auditing or the country votes.

Congratulations to the deserving winner, Karen. No one deserved that money more than you, but as for "The Virgin" Wendall, tjo, I conquer.

Again I ask, what was so Amplified about Wendall? Could his fans answer, please. Heee... Maybe Mugabe can explain because I'm lost and I need to be found.

I'm not "eating Wendall jealous" but my heart, my mind and my body are saying Noooooo...

Once Wendall was announced as the other winner, all hell broke loose at the live recording. An angry man went up on stage and boycotted the results, immediately after the announcement. People were booing Wendall and chanting, "Luclay, Luclay." Some people walked out in protest. Police had to be called in to calm the situation. It was chaotic!

Twitter and Facebook went wild with comments of people expressing their shock and anger. What more proof do we need to show that these votes are telling half truths. Again I ask, If you voted for Wendall, please enlighten us.

I just had to vent. I'm still shocked and yes, I haven't gotten over it. So, I'll write a "nicer" article when I've gotten over the shock.

For now, I'm feeling like Kaizer Chiefs felt after being beaten by Orlando Pirates in the penalty shoot out, this past Saturday. Lol

I am soOoOoOoOo over BBA! Never watching again. They should take that *bleep!* and go host it in the winning countries!!! 

I wanted Karen to win. And Luclay ofcourse. But after they announced Karen and WenDULL as the winners I couldn't even bring myself to be happy for Karen.

i was so heart broken last night, after lomwe was announced evicted i was so certain that Luclay is gonna win this year. Somehow i think this show needs to be boycotted. We've hosted BB for 3 years now and none of the South Africans have won not even once.They must just take this shittt to Nigeria. Im so saaad. Justice needs to be done.Go Luclay, to me you are the Winner!!!!!!!!!!!!Love you.

I have two reasons why wendall won.. the first is, the Zimbabweans and Nigerians are the two nationalities that are all over the continent, their people vote for them..i do not think the Kenyans can vote for Wendall over Sharon O??

Secondly, we have people who are stuck on voting the countries, not a housemate..the alliances..e.g Zambia, Wendall happened to be sleeping at the right place, and he won..

I think i saw this coming these votes are not rigged plain fact is Naijas and Zimbos Vote finish and Claar where ever they are....
The last two standing last year was Zim n Naija ... and this year again believe it or not .There is no way any other country is going to win unless they change the system or they out up someone who is not really liked by their country like Vimbai she wasnt really favoured by the Zimbos course of the Whole mother being minister of Zanu.

I'm over the shock & im gonna say this again....I dont believe that the votes were rigged. Like Bosch said: we have people who are stuck on voting the countries, not a housemate.

Last night I was shocked at how dof some people are (my fb friends)...saying how SA doesnt vote their own reps (do they even know what a country vote means?, if asked "wena did u vote?" they answer "yes, 10 votes PER DAY ON MXIT" REALLY??

FK.....I couldn't have said it better!!! I knew this was going to happen, but a piece of me had hopenyana. Unless Biggie cooks the votes, a South African will never win. Whether they are entertaining or not! Most people vote based on the country instead of the person.....and South Africans will always be marginalised.

I was just stunned last nite! I think what happened with Munya last year, prepared me for the worst....

Last week at the show XXX told us that Luclay was not the chosen winner (commentin g on our tshirts). Today we cornered her and she said 'its not me its Mnet - they say Luc is very full of himself and swears a lot ' so they decided that he does not win. There were very ugly scenes there and they had huge police presence. Ppl were not happy incl other countries. PS there were no Zimbabwean s in sight

unless bba canges to the original format where during weekly evictions we vote for the housemate we want out, zim and nigeria will always be the finalists and winners...... nigers and zimbos are all over africa. if karen was not there, vina would be carrying the cash now...

if we can be allowed to vote those we want out during normal evictions, save for the final, then it will be easy (if either a zim or niger is nominated) to vote them out.

@maddie....i don't think anything is fishy. Botswana has always been the only country that voted for a SA housemate, all the others have never especially when it mattered the most. So the odds will always be against us, no matter what!!!

That show is fraud shem, they stoppe BB Nigeria and cloned it with the name africa just because while they nationalised it they never made any revenue...SA is a gold mine and most developed as well,as advanced which is why they host it here.Works for them on tech and revenue...the method they use to calculate votes is triggered...there can be 10 million votes in one country but when compared to 2 million votes from 2 countries the 2 million is what they go for... The metthod works well for the immigrants since they all over the world.. Another thing, the mnet CEO is Nigerian so you tell me.. On another note since we all knew the 419 they running will always have a nigerian winner they compensated zim to the munya screw up. That show should get off our borders shem and go to the alexandra they call Lagos. Lastly lets get the Juju trust fund to pay luclay and create BBSA...mxxnm. South African rand is the strongest currency of all the countries entered,imagine how much money they made with sms votes..

Zim2....how do you justify Wendall's win? He went by unnoticed and gave us zero entertainment!!! I'm not bitter about Luclay, even Lomwe was better than Wendall.

At the end of the Day its not about entertainment its about voters being patriotic  You can never satisfy people , Last year South Africa voted Munya everytime he was up and at some point Zim voted Lerato...when Munya was not up the game was about Southern Africa.....
But this year things changed a bit... I really didnt like any of my country reps would have gadly voted Luclay but that support weaned off and i opted to Vote Wendall even though he did nothing for me it was all about being patriotic and i even voted Kim when she was up coz Zambia is always on Zim side...

Eish yesterday was a shocker! As much as I did say I dont see the rest of Africa voting Luclay, a South African, I was kinda convinced by the hype that he is taking the moola.......But Wendall!!!! 

Other housemates must be kicking themselves for not nominating him, he probably wont even keep in touch with any housemate, even Vimbai...he didnt seem like he bonded with housemate, he was there to get the money, not to make friends, he seemed bored by the whole thing

On twitter, there is @WendalAmplified who claims they ran WUFC like they did last year saving Munya from all the evictions up to the finale he says "it was the plan to shock Wendall himself, he didnt know what hit him. when his mum tell him WUFC he'll cry"  

He says SA can learn a thing or two from him on how to run a campaign, he told SA to get Angola to Vote Luclay and they did not  heed his call...

I never watched BBA ... but it is possible that people like the quiet kind of person more than the louder more attention seeking kind.

Guys please this was all about organising voters. How do you think Obama won the election when he was a clear underdog for both the Democrat election and national election. Wendell fan base was very organised and they knew they would have to swing the other country votes in their favour.

For those who are asking what happened to Luclays votes from last week, well Karen was not up for eviction so all the countries that would have voted for Karen decided to vote for Luclay. But this week Karen was also on the chop and the countries went for their first choice i.e Karen.South Africa shoul have tried to get Namibia & other SADC votes but that was always going to be toughsince Zimbos are all over SADC

I even wrote an article about how boring I found Lucille during her season. Even though I was crucified for not being patriotic, I stuck to my guns. Because I am paying to watch entertainment, not to be forced to watch nice boring people on my TV screen in the name of patriotism.

Look i wanted Luclay to win but lets be honest.In South Africa foreigners are always attacked so which foreign contry was going to vote for our boy apart from us an Botswana?Its only fair that the rest of Africa voted for someone else no South Africans because we do not treat the rest of our Africans as equal.Its a shame that Luclay had to be judged along with our Xenophobic tendencies.

Hey guys, let us heal and move on. We are not like them. We supported them in BBA and because of who we are, we will always support them if we feel it is the right thing to do. How many S.Acans supported Munya last year over Lerato? How many loved Karen? A lot. We dnt see the borders, but a person. We are good like that. On the other hand they are evil. We experience their evil behaviour  in our everyday lives. Do you know that crime escalated in Bots because of the Zimbos. You accomodate them, give them piece jobs, and they steal from you. That is just who they are.

In as much am gutted that Luclay lost, it was not his nationality, height or religion that cost him the price, it was his fans. Angola, Ghana, ROA have always been 9ja stronghold. Last week 9jas helped him get 5 votes and since his fans have forgotten that there are wealth Nigerians in Ghana than the Ghanaians themselces they become arrogant, big headed and assumed they had Ghana and Angola.

I told the LUFC admin on facebook, who was posting places they should rig. E.g, he told us to  vote from Angola, Ghana, Moz for Luclay. I advised him to leave Angola and Ghana cos they ALWAYS vote 9ja and concentrate on Kenya, Namibia, Zam. The silly admin was like "they are now SA territories, afterall they voted Luclay". I tried to tell him that it was the Nigerians trying to help Otono and the pig headed admin brushed me aside.

The fact is that the voting system is not a true represenatation of a housemate's popularity. Wendal's fans were few but very organised. If you go to his page, each hour they decide which countries to vote from. They had those that vote through the night. That said Luclay's fans also rigged but they were rigging in countries 9ja had on lock down. 

I  feel sorry for Luclay cos he entertained me and I think bba should be stoped until they remove web and mxit votes. Let people vote through sms cos thats the only one that cant be manipulated. There was no cheating on mnet or ernest &yooung's side. Wendall's win was as a result of dedication on his fan's part

I wonder if those 50 Zimbabweans are black or white. Where were they when Vimbai needed them? They chose to sleep or preferered Wendel to Vimbai? 

In any country in Africa what happened this season in Big Brother with Wendull and Vimbai would never happen. I know Nigerians wouldn"t favour a white guy over their own Nigerian black guy. Sorry but this is the truth. To me its obvious they are white or have Zimbabweans forgotton so soon? I am happy for WENDULL (though he KNOWS he doesnt deserve the win)  because he has no part in this voting rubbish but Zimbabweans are a disgrace! Say what you like but  I am very disappointed in Black Zimbabweans, Zambians and Namibians.  

Zambians had Jangu Jangu or Lomwe to pump their votes in but they chose Wendull. It is a very bitter pill to swallow for me and it will take a very long time to calm myself down.

I wonder if the Mnet people realise just how upset people are?

@TerryN am glad you concur. This had nothing to do with Zenophobia or otherwise, LUFC admin did a shoddy job. How can you ask people to vote from Angola that Karen got when Weza was up. What has happened has happened and it is now left to the disgruntled fans to compensate Luclay.

When Uti lost to Munya in bba3, his fans came together and donated money for him which he refused to take but was forced to eventually.  Dust yourselves up and do same for Luclay and also ask for web and mxit voting to be eradicated.

Its so disheartening to read the venom that is on this page. Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinions, to take a reality show where none of you have a real vested interest in the game to such dizzy heights as to wish harm upon others shows just how simple and small minded some people really are. 

I was equally as shocked as everyone else when Wendall won but the fact remains that he won fair and square. KPMG is a reputatble international firm that would never jeapodise its standing in the financial world for something as simple as BBA, I mean really now. The countries that voted for Wendall clearly saw something in him that appealled to them and they voted accordingly...so what? They have every right to! Its not by force to vote for a particular housemate...

And to the people that say BBA should get out of SA, ya'll sounding real stupid! So what just because you host must mean you must win? So did that mean when SA hosted the world cup they should automatically have won? GTFOHWTBS! Build a bridge and get over yourselves. All you people spewing venom about foreign nationals who probably have zero interest in BBA outside of enterainment value are the lowest form of low.

If KPMG had audited the show we wouldn't be exchanging words and screaming for this show to go to Nigeria and should take their DULL boy with, because they would have given us the TRUE reflection of  the votes. I can understand the sentiments expressed 'cos Luclay did not win. I was shell-shocked myself. I was rooting for Karen and Luclay. However I think we should be rational in our comments. For one, Nigeria should be left out of this matter. The votes were not rigged. Wendall won according to the methodology used in selecting the winner. Wendall would pass as the most boring housemate to grace our tv screens. I can understand the rage. If a guy that provided no entertainment, a virgin that did not want to be touched, a guy that loves his space, a guy that does nothing but walk up and down in the dead of the night, wins $200,000, then the outrage is understandable. What must change for the next BBA is the methodology used to decide the winner. It must be such that only those that entertain get to the final.

The housemates are also to blame. Wendall flew under the radar throughout his stay in the house. When he was in the Heads house, week in, week out, no one put him up for eviction. No head of house swapped him  either. No one saw him as a threat because he is white and Africans are black and would vote for blacks. This logic is faulty as the results have shown. When the two houses were merged, still no one took any notice of Wendall. Instead the housemates were more concerned about getting rid of the Nigerians. Most bloggers did not realise that Wendall was a big threat to Luclay for the Southern African block votes. This should have been spotted the one or two times Wendall was up and saved. A few bloggers spotted the danger and did beautiful analysis on the net  but no one took notice. Myself included.

The bitter truth is that Luclay did not get enough votes outside South Africa. Maybe the viewers  outside South Africa preferred Wendall. We should not forget some housemates complained that he was gettting away with his dissenting behaviour in the house. For example, he was suppose to wash dishes till he left the house which he did not do(fall-out of his altercation with Lotus), he did not do the molotof  thrown at him, of walking backwards, he got a housemate disqualified, he did not attend the Saturday bash for 3 weeks when he was suppose to be entertaining Africa, etc, etc. The housemates that complained saw all these as arrogance. They thought he was getting away because he is South African and the show was taking place in South Africa. Did other voting countries outside South Africa share the same views as the complaining housemates? Remember Millicent after leaving the house said Luclay was fake. Did other Kenyans and Africans think so? All said and done, Wendall did not deserve to win. 

Luclay should take heart. One thing is for sure. He will make more money post-BBA than Wendall.

ok I got news for all South Africans that complained about Wendal winning.  ACCEPT IT u cannot change it.  It hass got absolutely nothing  to do with whether one is Nigerian or Zimbabwean, these votes were not rigged. 

Ist of all kahle kahle, why do u'll think that Luclay deserved to win, he was arrogant, never participated in the last few parties, refused to do his molitive cocktails, provoked lotus, he was arrogant (oops i said that already) If he won he was going to be worse than what he is...thank ur lucky stars. 

2nd of all... How many of you above actually voted for Luclay, the problem is that u were all sitting back and expecting the next person to vote.

3rd ...Zimbabweans are suffering yes, but because of the love their country, even the poorest voted.  Go to the Wendal Fan page, we had duties for voting, everyday, whilst u all slept we were busy VOTING.  Yes we voted for our boy Wendal, we had campaigns, we had cars all over town with Wendals name and picture, in shops, we had posters of Wendal, (and Vimbai too).  We dedicated some nightclubs to showcase Big Brother and encourage people to vote Wendal.  Nigeria and Zim have one thing in common and that is supporting their people by voting, we cant say the same for SA.  We were hurt by Munya loosing to UTI last year, we just worked harder this year...AND THE HARD WORK PAID OFF.  Try it sometime nextyear perhaps you will be please with the results.

4th  You may have called Wendall " WENDULL"  but he was just as real as Karen (or so they say she is real)  whilst Karen was a diva Wendall was the opposite but he was his complete self.  Thats why Zimbabwe and the other countries that liked him voted for him.  

5th Luclay was acting the whole time, howling like a baby one minute, ranting like a diva he is the next.  (i still think he is part of the senzo/jason group)  next minute he was Otono, next was going around kissing everyone.  Twas all an act thats why he lost.  He was just fortunate to have Botswana's vote..I wonder why they did that.

I wont apologise for telling it like it is, I'm usually a silent blogger, but I found my voice at last.

@dorothy777,you have really hit the nail on the head,Africans do not like anyone to disrespect them.When Luclay signed on for the Big Brother show,he promised to abide the rules of Big Brother but when he was in there he decided to do his own thing and expect Africa to reward his bad behaviour.When he was punished with the dish washing duties he did not complete the punishment,the molotov coctails he flatly refused to do them.sometimes he goes into the chatroom and refused to say anything.If you call.If South Africans are really honest there was a point we were very unhappy with his attitude.He was behaving like a spoilt brat.The reason Munya lost last year was because of his arrogance and lack of respect and this year the same thing happened to Luclay.There was a lot of housemates better than Wendall in the house but he went in their with a strategy,to fly low below the radar and it worked out beutifully for him.I don't like the guy but i am happy he won the money instead of Luclay.Anyone going into the big brother house should know you are there to entertain  the WHOLE AFRICA and must not expect us to reward his bad  behaviour,you respect us and entertain us and we will reward you with our votes and hope you get the money.When i first saw Karen I was really dissapointed that she was representing Nigeria,I hated her on site but over the past three months,she was the first Housemate to ever make me cry,laugh and i watch everyday to see more.i rewarded her with my votes,i voted for her every hour until the voting closed.So let us look forward to next year and hope you get in a good contestant that will win the money instead of  alianating the rest of Africa!!!

I share your  sentiments about Karen. I disliked her with a passion when the show started. I was rooting for Weza and Luclay to win. As time went on, I realised that she really made me laugh and was really entertaining. The girl is simply "crazy" and I grew to like her. I only voted in the finals and decided to vote for her because she deserves to win.

The bitter truth is that Luclay did not get enough votes outside South Africa. Maybe the viewers outside South Africa preferred Wendall.

Everybody is coming with all words of wisdom and justifying WENDULL's win but it is going to take South Africans a very long time to calm down. The thing is year after year represtatives from South Africa get a raw deal from the word go and like true Africans we keep watching and blogging and voting in the hope that "maybe this year Africa will lessen the hate for us". So to me this was last straw.

Personally the reasons you are all stating about Luclay's arrogance is hilirious beause UTI was as arrogant as Luclay but he won. Its alright time will heal our wounds but the vibe I get from Mzansi is most of them are tired of watching and hosting Big Brother and will never watch again me included. I have never been serious. I am tired of raising my blood pressure and be giving my money for an unfair show. KWANELE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

@Kense I beg to differ, Uti never disrespected Big brother, Uti carried out his molotovs and even wore a maid's outfit, Uti always chatted in the chat room, Uti always partied, Uti never refered to women as "Bitches" I am a Luclay fan and at the same time an Uti fan and you cannot compare Uti and Luclay. Perhaps the reasons why luclay lost could be found in your varied reactions.Some of you are calling for violence,boycott and outright lawlessness.These were the exact attributes displayed by luclay on the show.Karen was supposed to be his friend but when her jokes went overboard,luclay unwittingly tried to strip her naked on continental tv.That was distasteful and disgusting to say the least,karen found it hard to forgive him same with her fans.For a show where you canvass for votes,luclay was boasting that he didn't need votes frm africa because he was there to correct ppl.As a fan of luclay,i was appalled at his lack of respect for the game.He disobeyed biggie at random and tried to humiliate the one friend he truly had karen.Why was he always saying he was begged to particpate on the show,even if they begged him,couldn't he keep it to himself?We should avoid playing into the hands of mischief makers calling for murder and lawlessness.South africa stands to gain for hosting the show,many are employed and revenue generated.If we don't stop this annoying rantings of sore losers,many  games or competitions may never be hosted in sa cos of security concerns.LET US EMBRACE PEACE AND HOPE THAT NEXT YEAR MIGHT JUST BE FOR US WITH SERIOUS HARDWORK.

Am a Tznian, and am also sad that Mr. Otono lost. How? This is really heart breaking. I cried and got drunk that Sunday night and am stil not over it. BBA, please stop playing with our minds, feelings, sentiments, time and money. I totally agree with those who said that the BB show is a 419 scam...the Mnet MD, IK the stupid and boring presenter who will never look good in any kid outfit he wears, ADE the hair dresser who made Karen's hair at the finale...the list goes on and on! Pure Nigerian scam. Couldnt they find a SouthAfrican hair dresser in Joburg, Capetown, Durban, KwaZuluNatal or anywhere in the RSA except flying one from Abuja or Enugu or Imo State or Anambra State or wherever in Nigeria?
