So I caught the last end of Isidingo on Friday and I was like..."yooo... I have to watch on Sunday!!, its on now!!!". Before I get there, let me get the minor details out of the way.

This is the 3-7 September Recap...
Q's arrow!!
Yep people that's a merge between Q and Farrow. Q put his arrow on Farrow this time around. First she was depressed about finding a job, and asked Q if there's something at the Duncan Hotel. She went and gave Lee her CV who told her she'll contact her when something comes up.
Since she was desperate for work, Q managed to put in a good word for her with Slu: To have the first white bar lady in a township shebeen. At R250 per shift and tips, Farrow was quick to agree. She loved working at the Shebeen even when Slu tried to rob her off her commission (4% of all her sales everyday). I liked when she said: "I'm poor. I'm a white version of township". She's been looking sexy too, v-neck tops and mini skirts and the hair was straightened. Nice and simple.
Q is gambling again! This time it’s at the shebeen playing poker with some dodge looking guys. He lost his first game and convinced Farrow that they should work out a couple of signals to help Q win and they could share their winnings. She (coz she's poor) agreed to help him on condition that they share his winnings 50-50!!
We'll see how far this relationship goes and if Farrow will get in trouble with the townshippers!!
Ra-rishnee
We were introduced to an Indian lady that bumped into Rajesh. Her name is Kerishnee Padeyachee (eish I hope I got the spelling) a marketing consultant that is helping ON! to re-brand I guess. Rajesh is so smitten, he just acted like a lil'boy doing his utmost best to bump into her. She on the other hand is still a dark horse. I have a feeling she has a husband or a boyfriend. She called Rajesh to find out where & when the next meeting was and if he will be attending. Rajesh told her it’s in the boardroom and he won’t be attending. But the next day he pretended to be lost and went into the same boardroom pretending to have got his rooms mixed up. Yeah right Jeshie!!
Keri gave Jeshie her business card, he called her, they had dinner and I don’t know how her phone ended up in Rajesh's briefcase. They met and he gave back her cell phone. Rajesh then took another bold step by inviting her to dinner at his house.
Lahv in the office, some people meet their life partners at work. Waking up to go to work is no longer a drag. You know how you always wish you can bump into the person? So Rajesh is basically going through the same now. Especially when the collegue seems to put a smile on your face. You just melt at their sight...sigh...! Yah guys office relationships.. are they good or bad!?? You tell me.
AFRIC-ON!!
Speaking of Rajesh, he's not supporting the upcoming merge. Barker on the other end says the merger will go on no matter what. He (Barker) is drawing a huge line between Frank and Rajesh, Rajesh is not even aware that betrayal is closer to home. Barker asked Frank to do some research on Rajesh, to which he refused telling Barker that he will never spy on his best friend Rajesh.
When Frank discussed the marketing strategy with Rajesh, he suggested to Rajesh that a merger would be a good idea and gave his reasons. He might be able to convince him because it got him (Rajesh) thinking.
Dineo Sekete-Haines
We found out that Dineo is Barker's daughter. On her mission to get close to Barker, she asked about Duncan. Barker was quick to tell her that Duncan is a sensitive issue that he only discusses with Lee. He was really warming up to Dineo and Harriet was still suspicious of her. It must when I switched channels but somehow Lee and Harriet found out that the Dineo working for Barker is the same Dineo who stays at Duncan Hotel. Apparently she also asked Harriet about Duncan and Lee mentioned that she's been asking questions about her family. Lee alerted Barker about Dineo.
He told Harriet to get hold of Dineo's past employers because something came up. "And if you ever say I told you so, I will throw you out the window!" he told Harriet. Barker got paranoid thinking Dineo could be Rajesh's spy. He was adamant that he will get answers by end of business day "Don’t worry I'll squeeze the truth out of her by end of business". So off he went for some squeezing.
Dineo walked into his office on some "You're back!! I've done your resear...."
Barker: Close the door!!! Who are you?? Are you working for Rajesh?
Dineo: Nooo.. I've never met the man!
Barker: You got 2 seconds to tell me or else.... !!
Dineo: Ok Ok, I’ll tell you the truth. I'm your daughter! You're my father, that's why I'm here!
Barker: Oh hoo hoo hoo... oh man oh man!!
Barker told Siyanda about him apparently having a black child. Siyanda told him that she knows mixed race couples that have one race children. No frikken ways...I would really like to see that.
Dineo told Harriet he's Barker's daughter,
Harry: But you are...uhm...
Dineo: Black??
She raised an important point: Why would she claim she's Barker's daughter when her physical appearance alone doesn’t prove it. She's not stupid. She can’t even explain it but she's his daughter.
Cut a long story short. Barker fired her. Lee spoke to her and Dineo was willing to take a DNA test. A photo Dineo had of her mom (who died) and Barker led him to hire and PI to find out who she is. Her past is clean and everyone loves her. It’s when her stalker file was found, Barker was told that she just admirers Barker...a lot!
What ceremony??
Maggie told her housemates that Lefa and Refilwe will be staying with them until the ceremony is done. She also told them to keep quiet because Ma’Agnes doesn’t know about this. She explained how Refilwe came into Zeb’s life, I had forgotten how she got into the picture. She was helping Lettie with Neo, and then Zeb spotted her and made a move. Had an affair with her and justified it by wanting to take her as his second wife. Some nannies can be dangerous hey?? When Len heard that the ceremony was to introduce Lefa to the Matabane ancestors, Len comment was “If Ma’Agnes finds out Lefa, Refilwe and Zeb will be introduced to her Sjambok!!” aah Len…you remembered.
Maggie’s such a softie, she got all teary eyed when she spoke to Ma’Agnes and told her that she believes that she deserves all the happiness. Refilwe has been given strict instruction about not leaving the house. She was almost caught by Agnes when she gave Maggie a surprise visit. She was quick to hide.
Malome Josias arrived at the Moletsanes, he’s the uncle that comes when there’s traditional ceremonies to be performed. Only this time (according to Agnes) there’s no ceremony, so Malome J is just visiting nje – Malome was also instructed not to breath a word on the mosebetse to Agnes. That was until the guy who’s renting their house (the one they couldn’t pay for coz they are broke) phoned her to ask about the slaughtering and if they will clean the blood immediately. Agnes was confused and Zeb gave her some lame excuse of how this Nicolas dude got the wrong end of the stick.
Back at the Moletsanes, Parson’s was telling the girls how Zeb mentioned Lefa and now Malome J is here? He couldn’t help but think something may be up. When he told his mom, she was suspicious and asked her man! Eish Zeb got all defensive and reminding her that she may be councilor but he’s the head of the house… no no Zeb… Vusi is the head of house head of the house.
Lefa got very ill, Refilwe didn’t know what to do so she called Zeb. Only this time Agnes picked up:
Agnes: Hello, this is Zeb’s phone
Refilwe: ……………
A: Hello!!??
R: Ke kopa..(eish let me not show that I can’t write tswana)…May I please speak to Ntate Zeb Matabane
A: Who’s this…??
R: Please I need to speak to Zeb Matabane
A: O mang wena (who are you)?? Refilwe?
R: Yes its me, I’m really sorry Mme Agnes, but Lefa is sick. Please tell Zeb to come over!
A: What? You want Zeb to drive to Thabanchu now!?
R: Nooo.. I’m here in Horizon Deep!
A: Horizon Deep? Where?
R: At the Bullers!
A: Bullers????
Zeb walked in… and took over the phone!! He could see its pointless hiding it again. All he could do was rush to the Bullers because his son is sick. Agnes tried to stop him but he stormed out.
Shame Agnes.. I thought she was going to have a heart attack!! She told the boParsons what just happened and Lettie was livid. She was ready to go tell Maggie to kick Refilwe out. Nandipha told everyone to calm down and wait for Zeb to explain..
But according to Agnes: The time for explaining is over. She told Zeb that if he ever brought Refilwe back to The Deep, its over between them. Its finished...

Refilwe was a nanny that ended up having an affair with Lettie's dad. Is that the main reason mothers prefer hiring nannies that are much older than them?? Are you trying to avoid an CUTPO MASAFI scenario??
And I still dont understand taking the second wife tradition! If a man is already married with children, should the husband discuss this with his whole family?? Eintlik what's the proper way of doing this??
