Arrested Development 3Premiere date: Sunday, 13 April 2008 at 19h30
Arrested Development returns for a third season.
The series revolves around Michael Bluth, the good son who must run the family business after his father, George Bluth Sr., escapes prison and flees.
While George Sr. spent the last year hiding out in the Bluth attic, Michael continued to pick up the pieces and keep his offbeat family from falling apart. All Michael really wants is to do right by his 14-year-old son, George Michael, an earnest teen who works diligently at the family’s frozen banana stand.
The Bluths are led by manipulative matriarch Lucille Bluth, a socialite as icy as her martinis who spent last season having an affair with her husband’s slacker identical-twin brother, Oscar.
Then there’s the oldest son, Gob, a struggling magician/“illusionist”. Youngest brother Buster is a glorified mama’s boy (he spent 11 months in the womb).
The Bluth siblings are rounded out by cause-obsessed sister Lindsay, whose marriage to the hapless Tobias, a doctor-turned-actor-turned-Blue-Man and self-proclaimed “never-nude,” is on the rocks.
Lindsay and Tobias are the ultra-permissive parents of Maeby, a 14-year-old who loves finding unique ways to rebel against them.

Diamond Hunters (2-part mini-series)Premiere date: Thursday, 17 April 2008 at 22h35
Based on the novel by Wilbur Smith, Diamond Hunters is set against the background of South Africa's emerald coast and diamond mines.
Diamond Hunters traces the torrid fortunes of a family unable to forgive and forget. Johnny, a successful diamond hunter, gets sucked back into a family that had been his own, before the patriarch, Jacob Van der Byl, abandoned him 20 years ago.
Painful memories of an unjust father and a long lost love come back to reality as Johnny is pitted against his own half-brother Benedict in a fight over two women, a diamond empire and ultimately, his very survival.
The series describes Johnny's thwarted attempts to win the approval of Jacob, and the under-hand schemes by which the inimical Benedict plans to defeat him.
Tracey, Benedict's sister and Johnny's true love, further complicates the fraternal rivalry, as all attempts to overcome the demons that survive from their troubled childhood. The series stars Roy Scheider, Alyssa Milano and Sean Patrick Flanery.
