The new Popstars, now on e.tv. Based on the international format of the same name, the show features aspirant singers from around the country who compete to be awarded a place in a final group of "popstars".
The show premiere is titled Popstars Special and includes: a look at the international phenomenon of the series, a blast back to past South African winners and a sneak peak of the new season's Popstars house - where the finalists will be staying.

A companion show to Popstars featuring extra weekly highlights. The show delves into the personalities of the contestants, the production team and the judges as the series goes through the process of finding the winning group.
It includes impromptu interviews with contestants, sneak-peaks at what the judges are up to behind the scenes and the challenges that the crew need to go through to organise the production.
