Reeva Steenkamp "The Model You Thought you Knew"

TX: Premieres on Wednesday, 12 February at 8PM on eNCA (DStv Channel 403) and in United Kingdom on the SKY Digital Satellite Platform Channel 517.

Also airs on e.tv on Monday, 17 February at 20h30.

On Friday, 14 February it will be a year since Oscar Pistorius was accused of allegedly shooting and killing his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.

With the murder trial looming for Paralympic icon Oscar Pistorius, eNCA reveals key moments in the life of Reeva Steenkamp, the up-and-coming star he allegedly murdered last Valentine’s Day.

As his murder trial looms, eNCA and e.tv air a special documentary entitled ‘Reeva: The Model You Thought You Knew’. The documentary includes never-before-seen footage of her life before she met Oscar Pistorius and an account of what took place in the days leading up to her death.

eNCA’s Specialist Reporter Karyn Maughan spent almost a year researching and investigating the life of Reeva Steenkamp. Maughan says, “So much of the focus has been on Oscar Pistorius. eNCA felt it was important to take a long look at Reeva and bring her life to light. She was much more than just the victim in this case; she was a very special person and touched many lives”.

Pistorius is due in court on 03 March to stand trial for killing the up-and-coming model. He claims he thought he was shooting at an intruder.

Documentary repeats on eNCA on:

• Friday, 14 February at 6:30PM
• Sunday, 16 February at 5PM
