E! ENTERTAINMENT SPECIALS

E! ES Forbes Most Bankable Stars
On: Thursday, 4 February 2010 at 21h00
Duration: 30 minutes

In a recession, every employer wants to get the biggest bang for their buck and Hollywood is no exception. So, who are the most bankable stars in Tinseltown?

If you think Will Smith and Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie and Julia Roberts are worth their weight in gold, you may be surprised. You won't believe which names top the list as the most valuable actors and actresses in Hollywood.

The experts at Forbes came up with a formula that determined how much money, on average, an actor/actress earns for every $1 he/she was paid and the results will surprise you.

This special counts down the 10 men and ten women Hollywood can count on to rake in the big bucks at the box office without breaking the bank. The show also exposes the least bankable stars in Hollywood - revealing the number one name on that list.

E! ES Maxim Hometown Hotties
On: Thursday, 11 February 2010 at 21h00
Duration: 30 minutes

This hal-hour special joins forces with Maxim magazine in their nation-wide search for this year's sexiest Hometown Hottie. The special shares the steamy home video submissions that captured the Maxim readers' attention and catapulted the ladies through to the semi finals.

The show includes commentary from former Hometown Hotties and Maxim editors as they explain what it takes to become Maxim's 2010 Hometown Hottie champ. Plus, a back stage pass to an exclusive Maxim photo shoot for the Top 10 finalists, ending with the number one Hometown Hottie.

TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES

THS Valerie Bertinelli
On: Thursday, 18 February 2010 at 21h00
Duration: 1 hour

THS follows the career and personal life of TV icon Valerie Bertinelli, from her breakout role as Barbara on One Day at a Time to her volatile marriage and divorce from rocker Eddie Van Halen. Now a bestselling author and Jenny Craig spokeswoman, Valerie's most recently reached new successes with her weight loss battle.

THS Football Wives
On: Thursday, 25 February 2010
Duration: 1 hour

Stereotypes about the relationships of out-of-control NFL stars abound. The image of violent, promiscuous party animals - tempted by drugs, booze, and gold-digging groupies - as seen in Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday - makes it hard to imagine how football wives be anything but hard-as-nails predators.

But not all are money-grubbing floozies or bimbos. And the old saying
that behind every great man there stands a woman - applies just as much to pro-football as to any other career.

Still, football wives do enjoy the perks that come with being married to a pro athlete: big houses, big cars, fame - and plenty of bling. But they also face the same challenges as other celebrity wives: the scrutiny of life in the public eye, the threat of groupies, and lots of alone time when hubby is on the road.

THS explores the ups and downs of some of the NFL's hottest - and most diverse - wives. They include: Jennifer Walcott (Adam Archuletta), October Gonzalez (Tony Gonzalez), Christy Cooley (Chris Cooley) and Carmen Cousin (Terry Cousin).

E! Entertainment is on DStv Channel 124.
