Cake Boss introduces Buddy Valastro - one of the most successful and renowned cake artists in America.

He is the boss of Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, and he supervises a team that includes his mother, four older sisters and three brothers-in-law.

The show chronicles Buddy's over-arching desire to achieve his late father's dream of making Carlo's Bake Shop a household name. Watch the team as they work together to create a variety of stunning and unique wedding cakes, speciality cakes and baked goods. However, with tight deadlines to meet, working so closely with family on a daily basis is not always easy.

A spin-off to Miami Ink, LA Ink follows Kat Von D as she returns home to Los Angeles to open her own tattoo parlour.

The tatt' news has spread and celebrities, musicians and tattoo collectors are lining up for some of Kat's famous ink, each with a different reason for wanting a tattoo.

With popularity comes hard work and the pressure to succeed. For her shop to flourish, Kat needs to learn how to balance her personal life with her business, and how to manage a diverse team of renowned artists.



Ultimate Car Build-Off

Ultimate Car Build Off follows mechanics from all over America as they battle it out to build the most innovative vehicle, to win $100,000.

The show highlights the design and fabricating abilities of the participants, and demonstrates how their creative skills are pushed to the limit.

Hosted by professional car builder Lou Santiago and North American Rally Champion Andrew 'ACP' Picard, the final project builds are showcased and judged by legendary car designer Chip Foose.

In the first episode: mechanics from two garages - Hollywood Hot Rods and Pure Vision - go head-to-head with four days to transform a mini-van into a super-car.



I'm Alive

I'm Alive dramatically reconstructs frightening and near-fatal animal attacks and real-life accounts of man versus beast.

Many people are killed each year by wild animals. However, some manage to beat the odds by enduring the most brutal maulings, venomous bites and deadly stings.

This show reveals the secrets and medicine which help some people survive, investigating whether a person's attitude and psychology can make the difference between life and death.

Similarly to I'm Alive, Human Prey presents a variety of attacks by some of the world's deadliest predators.

Dramatic re-enactments and interviews with the victims demonstrate the unpredictability of a wild or caged animal, and reveal how these events took a dramatic turn for the worst.

Some of the stories featured include a visit to an African chimpanzee sanctuary, which goes wrong when a man and his guide are targeted by the colony's escaped alpha male and a blow-by-blow account of what happens when an unarmed South African conservationist encounters an aggressive male lion.



I Escaped Death

I Escaped Death explores several true stories about people who have been trapped or held captive, and how they managed to break free.

Their ordeals are told through the eyes of the person who lived the nightmare. Among the cases: a woman who was tortured and locked in a cellar for months, and a young boy who was able to get away from his bone-breaking captor.

The show also features dramatised reconstructions and expert commentary from FBI agents and medical doctors which give a first-hand view of the events.



Up Close And Dangerous

Up Close And Dangerous reveals shocking animal encounters captured on film. In exclusive interviews with professional wildlife filmmakers, they tell their stories and share the footage of shoots gone wrong.

They describe how and why these incidents happened, the emotions they felt at the time, and how they used their skills and experience to survive.

 The show also reveals the lessons they learned, and how ultimately these individuals have gained even more respect for the creatures they work with so closely.
