Ultimate Survival 4

Bear Grylls returns for more adventures which use his military training and daring spirit to demonstrate a variety of survival strategies.

Facing extreme and dangerous conditions, Bear leads viewers through remote locations including; the Arctic Circle, Alabama, the jungles of Vietnam, Alaska, and the deserts of south-western Texas.

The season begins as Bear is dropped by helicopter at the top of a 220metre canyon. After climbing down an enormous tree to reach a white-water river, his raft capsizes at the top of a perilous waterfall.

On the ground, Bear comes face-to-face with a vicious wild boar and braves a raging forest fire, but he draws on his unique expertise to escape from danger.

This season also includes a special episode featuring American actor and comedian Will Ferrell. Bear takes Will on an adventure into the Swedish wilderness and shows him what it takes to stay alive in the ice-bound mountains and glacier ranges, armed with the most basic survival equipment.



Rampage
Premiere date: Friday, 20 November 2009 at 23h00
Runs Mondays to Fridays

A series that takes an extreme look at what happens when people, machines and nature take a dramatic turn for the worse to go on the rampage. The show captures footage of trains, planes and automobiles spinning out of control and destroying everything in their paths. Also: victory celebrations erupt into chaos and violence in the aftermath of a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game.



Time Warp 2
Premiere date: Wednesday, 25 November 2009 at 21h00

In his second season of Time Warp the team continue to change the lens of time to make the invisible become visible and reveal our world in more astonishing and spectacular ways.

The show begins Season 2 with a visit from Thomas Nealeigh, who performs an blade demonstration with death-defying feats of slicing, dicing and smashing.

The team also plays with a medieval catapult and joins the legendary heavy metal band Metallica in a special episode.

World's Heaviest Man

A sepcial that tells the story of 555kg Manuel Uribe of Monterrey, Mexico. Following years of over-eating, an unhealthy lifestyle and refusing surgery, Manuel has been confined to his bed for over five years.

Now morbidly obese, losing the excessive weight has become a matter of choosing life over death. The film documents a year in Manuel's life, meets his family and friends, and looks at what it is like to be the heaviest man in the world.



World's Heaviest Man Gets Married

Manuel Uribe earned the title of the 'World's Heaviest Man' when he reached 555kg. Two years later – and 181kg lighter – he has found love and is getting married to his girlfriend of four years, Solis.

This documentary follows the challenges the couple face when organising a wedding for a man of such an incredible size. The show follows Manuel as he's transported to the church and dances his first dance. newlyweds is in the form of holding hands and swaying to a romantic ballad.



Juliana: The Girl With A New Face
On: Thursday, 12 November 2009 at 21h00

A documentary that tells the story of Juliana Wetmore, a girl born without a face. She was born with a defect known as Treacher Collins Syndrome and doctors say it is the worst case they have ever seen. She cannot swallow food or drink as she has no movement of her jaw and she cannot breathe properly on her own because of her abnormal tissue and bone structure. Now five years old, Juliana will undergo a major surgical procedure to help build her face and her future.
