This May, Channel O is to screen Imagine: Beyoncé - Life is but a Dream - the most intimate and revealing documentary of the global superstar ever produced.

The acclaimed documentary will be screened on Monday, 6 May at 19h00, with a repeat on Tuesday, 7 May at 16h00 - giving Beyoncé fans in Africa a rare chance to get up-close-and-personal with the superstar.

Imagine: Beyoncé - Life is but a Dream sees the multiple Grammy®-winner, entrepreneur and actress become the focus of an intimate feature-length HBO documentary film.

Directed by Beyoncé herself, the film is a fusion of video that provides raw and unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon as well as high-voltage performances.

Imagine: Beyoncé - Life is but a Dream is a multi-faceted portrait of the 16-time Grammy Award-winning singer, businesswoman, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, wife and mother, showing off the extraordinary gifts that have made her a global phenomenon, and stripping away the veneer of stardom.

It includes extensive first-person footage, some of it shot by Beyoncé on her laptop, in which she reflects on the realities of celebrity, the refuge she finds onstage and the transcendent joy of becoming a mother last year.

So make a date with Beyoncé like you’ve never seen her before - exclusive to Channel O.

Other repeat times:
Saturday, 11 May at 10:00
Sunday, 12 May 18:00
Friday, 24 May at 09:00
Thursday, 30 May at 13:00

Most revealing doccie??? Damn the woman edited, produced and had a word into everything that went into this project so I beg to differ. This is no documentary but just a mere behind the scenes.
