Just in from Channel O ...

The electrifying, once-in-a-lifetime Beyoncé live show at the legendary Roseland Ballroom in New York premieres on Channel O this December.

Broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 18h00, Live At Roseland was shot over four incredible nights in front of 3500 fans per night – fans who bought their tickets in a record 22 seconds to see the multi-talented artist live. The great news for fans is that Channel O now gives Africa the opportunity to see this exclusive live concert on Sunday, 4 December at 18h00!

With an all-female band, Beyoncé turned the intimate venue into a space where her colossal musical gifts were on the most incredible display!

Praised as “robust,” “finely-tuned” and “compelling” by The New York Times, “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” at Roseland Ballroom, was a tour de force for the entertainer.

It was the only time Beyoncé would perform her new album, 4, almost completely and to a very limited audience. The performances of songs like “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Say My Name”, “Jumpin', Jumpin'”, “Independent Women Part 1”, “Bootylicious”, and “Survivor” were punctuated with spirited stories detailing her journey before the album, 4, including her years before and with Destiny’s Child.

The premiere of Live At Roseland comes a day before the incredible film is released on DVD – and so Channel O viewers will be the first in South Africa and Africa to experience the energy and magic that filled the Ballroom on those incredible nights.

Live At Roseland was directed by Beyoncé, Ed Burke and Anthony Green and executive produced by Beyoncé for Parkwood Entertainment, in association with Columbia Records.

Catch Live At The Roseland on Sunday, 4 December at 18h00 and on Friday 16 December at 18h00. The DVD goes on sale at stores countrywide the day after.
