Character briefs
Mr. Solomon Nkadimeng is a 45-55 years old Pedi, a kind, laid back, praying man. After completing matric he trained as a nurse and worked at Turfloop hospital. A few years later he left nursing and started his own business. When he is not at work, he is home relaxing and listening to gospel music. He is the type of father and husband you can rely on.
Mrs. Rebone Nkadimeng, Eunice’s mother, 38-40, housewife who is warm, reserved, comfortable in her own skin. Blessed with a good husband and two intelligent daughters, Rebone considers herself a lucky woman. She will walk to the ends of the earth to make her family happy.
Youth who are at school are requested to not audition for the roles of Kamo, Sphola and Masego below because the filming schedule is during school dates and the show doesn't want to disrupt schooling:Kamo Phalane aged 16, a fun-loving, girly-girl who makes and loses friends with ease. She’s street smart, daring and in your face, always the first to know about things. Her classmates hate her attitude but she doesn’t care. She is Mapitsi’s friend.
Sphola a 17-year-old eye candy from Seshego Township. He is volatile and quick to impulsive action. He is a boy with a man’s face; a school dropout who has seen much more in his life than he will ever tell you. He wears expensive labels.
Masego Balleng aged 16 is Pedi, soft-spoken with an innocent smile. She is passionate about life and sports. She is into long jump and dreams of representing South Africa in the Olympics. She is very likable, with a wonderful sense of humour. She is new in Turfloop and is still trying to adjust.
