Peter, Nathan and Mohinder

Peter talks to the Doctor Claude, the invisible man and asks him to teach him how to control his power. Claude refuses, even after Peter follows him (against Claude’s instructions).

Nathan turns up at Mohinder’s apartment, and asks if Mohinder knows where Peter is. Mohinder says no, but says that there could be a danger if Peter absorbs too many powers and that there’s a chance that he may be able to help Peter if he can study him.

The two of them eventually track Peter down to his apartment. Peter is busy packing, and Nathan tries to convince him to stay and let Mohinder examine him.

Peter manages to make his escape, seemingly slipping past Nathan’s bodyguard, who was waiting outside the apartment. Mohinder and Nathan see an open window and think that Peter flew out of it, but what they don’t notice (for obvious reasons) is Claude standing by the door holding Peter with his over Peter’s mouth. Once Nathan and Mohinder have gone off on their wild goose chase, Claude and Peter talk, and Claude agrees to teach Peter.

Niki, DL and Micah

Niki is met by a psychiatrist who instructs that Niki be taken out of the straitjacket and not given any more shots. Niki protests against this, saying that the shots are the only thing that keeps Jessica away.

Meanwhile, DL and Micah are having a hard time adjusting to their new home situation, which is exacerbated by DL’s inability to find work. DL visits Niki in her cell, and tells her that he can’t look after Micah by himself and that her son needs her. Niki tells him that he’s going to have to get used to her being imprisoned for a long time, and he then leaves.

Meanwhile, Micah has come up with a solution to their money problems by visiting ATMs and using his power to withdraw money from them without the use of a card. He gives his stash to DL, saying that he also as a secret, just like his parents.

Niki meets with the psychiatrist, saying that she’s changed her mind because her son needs her. The psychiatrist says that in order to help, she needs to speak to Jessica, something which Niki is reluctant to do.

I wasn’t aware that Niki had control over when Jessica took over, as there’s certainly been no evidence of that happening before. So put this down as OOTTWNSTQ.

The psychiatrist says that either she speaks to Jessica or Niki won’t see Micah for a very long time. She gets up to go, but as she reaches the door, Niki tells her to wait.

Hiro and Ando

Hiro and Ando try to set off on their journey to Las Vegas and Linderman. However, they don’t make it out of the parking lot as there’s an unfriendly looking man waiting by their car, and more turn up when they try to run away.

Hiro manages to get away by climbing over a fence, but Ando is not so lucky. The men grab him, and Hiro proposes that they do an exchange, taking him (who has a power) and letting Ando (who doesn’t have one) go free.

They don’t agree, and both Hiro and Ando wind up in the back of the van, where the man who had been waiting at their care tells them that his boss wants them to give up their mission. He offers them first class tickets back to Tokyo, and Ando is tempted by the offer.

Hiro remains strong though, and says that he’s determined to continue. He’s told that the boss won’t like that, and once the van reaches its destination, he learns that the boss is actually Sulu his father.

Matt

Matt manages to convince Janice about his power before heading off to face a hearing regarding his recent stint with the FBI. The captains presiding over the hearing have a copy of Matt’s written report regarding the Sylar affair and the raid on Primatech Paper.

We know that Matt’s dyslexia is bad enough to affect his writing of the detective exam. How then was he able to produce a written report? Is this another OOTTWNSTQ?

During the reading, Matt reads the captains’ minds and decides to retract the statement, claiming he made the whole thing up as an attempt to make him look like a hero. This stops him from losing his job as a result of them thinking him crazy, but he still gets suspended for six months.

This of course will give Matt lots of time to go after HRG, but he doesn’t appear to have realised that yet. He returns home to Janice, and she allows him to read her mind one more time, revealing that she’s pregnant.

Claire, Zach and HRG

Claire and Zach search the Bennet’s home PC for evidence of what HRG’s been up to. They don’t find anything, and Zach points out rightly that anybody as potentially shady as HRG is unlikely to leave information lying around on a family computer.

HRG returns home to find the two of them, and they pretend that they’ve been forced to work together on a biology project on the manatee. They do a pretty good job of convincing HRG, with Claire going as far as later on getting books from the library and reading up so that she can sound knowledgeable. But then, I guess she learned about concealing things from someone who is very good at it.

After the search on the PC reveals nothing, Claire hangs wind chimes on her window, a signal which the Haitian had arranged with her if she ever wanted to talk with him. The two meet and when Claire asks about her parents, the Haitian says that he has no idea who Claire’s father is, but that her mother died in an explosion fourteen years earlier.

While Claire’s busy with clandestine meetings, HRG receives a phone call from the doctor who’s been treating Sylar at the clandestine cell where they have clandestinely been keeping him.

The doctor says that Sylar’s dead, but after he hangs up and starts working on Sylar’s body Sylar opens his eyes, something which I don’t think was a surprise to that many people.

Zach manages to find a newspaper clipping from fourteen years earlier in which it states that a Meredith Gordon and her 18-month daughter were killed in a fire in the down of Kermit there. Claire then starts phoning all the Gordons in an attempt to find one who might know something.

Later, while she’s on the phone to Zach lamenting her lack of success, she is interrupted by HRG, who brings her a book on manatees, which it turns out she’d already got hold of. In their ensuing conversation she tells him that she’s almost sixteen and that it’s time that the bears which HRG has been buying her “migrate”

HRG is a little taken aback by this, but he tells her that no matter how old Claire gets, he’ll always be there for her. He appears to notice the wind chimes hanging in the window, but whether this has any significance, we don’t know yet.

Claire’s phoning does pay off, as she manages to contact Meredith Gordon. While talking to Claire on the phone, Meredith lights a cigarette with a flame which appears from her fingers.

That explains how HRG would have known about Claire, as he would have been aware of Meredith. It doesn’t yet explain how he ended up with Claire if Meredith is still alive, but I’m sure that will be revealed soon.

While Claire’s on the phone to her mom, HRG visits Sylar’s cell, where he finds a body covered by a sheet. Pulling back the sheet, he discovers that it’s not Sylar.

Sylar suddenly appears, although I’m not quite sure how. Claude is still alive, so Sylar can’t have his power of invisibility, but there wasn’t anywhere to hide in the cell. So unless Sylar has some other power that lets him hide, this is another OOTTWNSTQ.

We see Sylar from behind, revealing that he has some metal object sticking into his head, presumably something to do with the tests that were performed on him. As HRG looks at him, he asks how Claire is.

It's a bit funny what you choose to label "OOTTWNSTQ", and what you don't.  The
most confusing thing to me was how Sylar was able to convince a doctor he was dead, when he actually wasn't.  Or was he really dead, and somehow came back to life??  And yeah, how did he hide in that cell?  Not to mention, why did Eden and HRG think that Sylar was unable to use his powers before they began drugging him?  How did he get around their security??  Unfortunately, none of these things are ever explained.  The whole plot could use a lot of extra scenes.

There's so much that I could label "OOTTWNSTQ", so I only picked a few examples, otherwise it would get completely unreadable. ;)

But yeah, the other things you mentioned could also be labelled as such.
