Fun news for Bold junkies ... three lead cast members will be visiting South Africa this month. They'll be travelling to Jozi, Durbs and Cape Town, meeting viewers.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (who plays Steffy Forrester), Brandon Beemer (Owen Knight) and Jack Wagner (Nick Marone) will be at four shopping malls from Sunday 20 to Wednesday, 23 February 2011.

Here's where you can catch them:

Eastgate shopping centre in Johannesburg on Sunday, 20 February: from 13h40 to 14h20.

Maponya Mall in Soweto, also on Sunday, 20 February: from 15h10 to 16h00.

Canal Walk in Cape Town on Tuesday, 22 February: from 13h30 to 14h20.

The Pavilion in Durban on Wednesday, 23 February, from 13h30 to 14h20.

They'll be signing autographs at each venue.

In 2010, the show won the Emmy® for Outstanding Drama Series for the second consecutive year at the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards.

It was also the recipient of the Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival awards ceremony, confirming that in its genre, with an estimated 35 million daily viewers in more than 100 countries, and for the fifth consecutive year, it remains the most watched series in the world.

The 2011 Guinness World Records® Book lists the show as the Most Popular Soap Opera - Current.

On March 23, 2011, the series celebrates its 24th anniversary.

My aunt is such and BnB fan...she has to sit down when its on, cooking and all stops..she'd love this...i think.
I would go just for Nick Morone..what a man what a man what a mighty good man *singing* Salt N Peppa....

PS: A fun fast fact on the show ... I once did a story where I worked the beat with dusty collectors to see what the job's like. I worked with them for a day - got the uniform and everything - and got to know them.

At the end of the day I asked what their ultimate fave show was and each one of them (no exceptions!) said Bold. From what I could work out they started watching to impress their wives - they said they watched with them when they got home BUT from how they spoke about it it was obvious they were hooked.

I found it so interesting - a group of hardcore dudes loving Bold as they did.

thanx for the lowdown Tashi, but still lacks a MMajor reason why...i guess its bcos i dont think i wanna meet them. unless its a private converstaion with Nick Morone...
Hopefully the highlight of their visit will be a part of some 100* yrs on tv celebration that they will be doing on theit homke channel...

PS: my uncle (rip)..looved Days of our lives, to the extent he would ask as to recap for him, like imagine telling having to tell your 50-60 yrs old uncle, Sammi and austin slept together..bla bla..t'was torture. Im against men watching sopaies..lol. Seriasly!.

Yazi nami when I first saw this article I thought they bringing Brooke at least. I havent whatched the Bold in a long time but I think she would've been the most relevant person to come. Her and Nick and Ridge and Taylor.

But I think what happened was that these three were coming to SA just for a holiday and the producers were like... "oh, well, how about a few extra dollars and you make some appearances. The crowds will love you"

yep good morning everybody.. i'd like to be the first to say i saw these threee....BRANDON so yummy JACK (Nick) looks younger... Don't want to lie it was nice seeing these pple... ddn't manage to get an autograph tho, it was too crowded (my toes hurt from being stepped on eish)..n the whole thing was cancelled, i tried to stalk Nick n they hid him (sh*t sh*t) for hrs ddn't hav much choice but to leave. i managed to take a few pics tho, will download soon, i forgot my code..was worth it...

i think they ddn't organise the whole thing well. pple wer pushing, the few less than 10 lucky ones got the autographs the rest (one of them) got the posters.. ther was less security so they rushed them to a shop n closed ((((shld hav seen me running after Nick)))hehe. like i said there was less security i was this close () to touching him.. i chilled for abt 2hrs then left i don't knw wat happened later mayb they dd eventually sign... i don't think they expected a crowd like that, they thot they'd be abt 15-20 fanss judging by the security that was there. hop they postpone, i'd so want to be there. anyone hear anything pliz keep me on the loop.

Guys I was one of the Journalists who was at Eastgate and I must say It was the most difficult thing ever to get a photo.
I was at a point where I wanted to give up but to cut a long story show onli me an another journo were able to take photo's, chill with them catch our breathes and ask if they are loving SA......while the other 11 journo's get squashed outside...Survival of the fitest! I tried to put up pics but it keeps on freezing...but I will do my best to put them up so you can see how cool and laid back.....oh and FINE....Brandon Beemer is.

on TV Nick seems old, in person Tjo he is FYYYN, HOT. n offcoz Brandon mmmh sexyyy. I ddn't see Stephy tho somehow i think i managed to capture her on camera.. is she the one who was wearing glasses?? was honestly concentrating on the dudes.
