Monday 1 September 2008Episode 5080 Rick can't believe Ridge would accuse him of being the one who shot Grant Chambers. Rick is again surprised when Taylor does not contradict Ridge's statement. Brooke is very concerned about how the truth will affect Rick, and is angry that the secret came out the way it did.
Constantine questions Phoebe's love for Rick and is concerned that she is in love with the wrong guy. After Constantine replays her song "Girl Like You," he and Phoebe embrace as he claims that they will do great things together.
Tuesday 2 September 2008Episode 5081 Rick is in complete denial that he is the person who shot Grant Chambers, and thinks that it is a ploy to get Ridge out of prison. Even while cradling a gun, he has no memory of the shooting, leading Taylor to doubt if she will be able to help Rick remember the truth. Rick is especially angry at Brooke for siding with Ridge, and not believing her own son.
Phoebe realizes that Constantine wants to be with her, and tries to easily let him down. She calls Rick in order to illustrate his commitment to Constantine, but is taken aback when Rick is abrupt and hangs up on her. Constantine consoles an upset Phoebe with a hug.
Wednesday 3 September 2008Episode 5082 When Bridget hears that Rick was with Taylor, she is afraid he revealed the truth about the egg switch. Soon after, she realizes that Rick is upset, and advises him on what to do about Phoebe and Ashley. Bridget gets a call from Carl, who has some more information on the egg switch.
Nick, Brooke and Taylor discuss the situation involving Rick; they wonder if the trauma that Rick will go through is worth him realizing the truth. Phoebe suspects that Rick has feelings for another woman, and asks Ashley if she has any ideas who it could be.
Thursday 4 September 2008Episode 5083 Carl tells Bridget that he knows who the mother of Taylor's baby is, and Bridget leaves the beach house to go meet him. When Phoebe asks, Rick tells her that there was someone else, but he still loves her and wants her forgiveness.
After much discussion, Phoebe forgives him and they decide to get over their problems because they want to stay together.
Taylor reiterates to Brooke that she does not feel insecure about her and Nick working together. When meeting with Nick, Brooke tells him that she respects his relationship with Taylor, but also believes that it's not over between her and him.
Friday 5 September 2008Episode 5084 Bridget meets Carl at Café Russe, where he claims to know whose eggs are in Taylor's body, but Bridget realizes that he waned to go on a date with her. After she confronts him, Carl says he can find out truth if he is given some time.
Ridge tells Phoebe the truth about Rick shooting Grant, but warns her not to pressure him to remember the truth. Ridge also tries to convince Rick that he is indeed telling the truth, but Rick is still doubtful, and does not even want to try to help Ridge.
Christine meets with Stephanie, Brooke and Taylor and they realize they can make a fair case if they prove Shane was suicidal; in order to do so, they check the messages Shane sent on his cell phone, hoping that they can help.

Monday 8 September 2008Episode 5085 Phoebe tries to get Rick to remember the truth about shooting Grant Chambers, but he refuses to do it, saying that he would if he could, but he can't. Brooke then convinces Rick to try to remember for Phoebe's sake, after which he rushes into the courtroom stating that was the person who shot Grant Chambers.
Christine makes efforts to delay the trial so that she can make further preparations for the case, but they are rejected. She is forced to try to get Ridge's past to be barred from the case.
Tuesday 9 September 2008Episode 5086In the courtroom, Rick explains very emotionally how he shot Grant Chambers, leading Ridge to be found not guilty. However, Ridge is taken aback when Rick tells him privately that he does not actually remember anything. Rick tells Ridge he confessed for Phoebe's sake and Ridge must now agree to respect their relationship, which she does.
As everyone rejoices over the verdict, Brooke implores Stephanie to understand what it took for Rick to come through for Ridge. Eric is very worried about Rick and does not want a great deal of press attention.
Stephanie is worried about another crisis, Brooke; she vows never to let Brooke come back to her son Ridge again.
Wednesday 10 September 2008Episode 5087 The Forresters are celebrating Ridge's freedom with a summertime pool party. Phoebe calls Constantine and invites him to come join them. Rick is upset when he sees Constantine; however Constantine hits it off with Ridge.
Ridge and Brooke have a heart to heart, and they both feel that getting back together would be best for their children. Nick is shocked when Brooke tells him that she's resigning from Forrester Creations.
Carl gets closer to helping Bridget determine which egg Taylor is carrying.
Thursday 11 September 2008Episode 5088 Carl believes the labels are not the same, meaning Taylor was fertilized with the Donor's eggs. Only after he tells an ecstatic Bridget does he realize that he has made a huge mistake, and the labels really are the same because the lab in Cryostorage got a new printer.
Constantine doesn't tell Ridge more about Rick's other women, causing Ridge to realize that Constantine has more then a professional interest in Phoebe. Rick is frustrated and annoyed that Phoebe is putting her singing career before her job at Forrester Originals.
Everyone is excited to have Brooke back at Forrester Originals, except for Stephanie, who does not want her to have romantic feelings for Ridge. Stephanie tries to no avail to convince Ridge that if he and Brooke get back together, she will ruin his life and eventually go back to Nick.
Friday 12 September 2008Episode 5089 Taylor is skeptical that she won't feel like a mother to the child because it is not biologically hers, but Nick assures her that she will feel equally connected to the child. Both Taylor and Nick then become excited about the baby.
Bridget is so relieved at the news Carl delivered to her that she does not want to answer the phone when she sees that he's called. A panicked Carl runs to Bridget's house to tell her the truth.
Ashley admits to Felicia that she and Rick were once and item. Constantine convinces Phoebe to transform herself into full-fledged rock and roll star. Rick is angry that Phoebe continues to not be making enough time for her job at Forrester Originals.

Monday 15 September 2008Episode 5090 Both Ridge and Rick agree that Phoebe is spending too much time with Constantine, but Rick tells Phoebe that he will not stand in her way. He admits that he loves Phoebe but we sense that his thoughts might be wandering towards Ashley.
While Eric and Thorne are thrilled to welcome Brooke back to Forrester Originals, Stephanie warns Brooke to stay away from Ridge. While Ridge talks to Brooke alone, Stephanie begs Ashley to go after Ridge and prevent Brooke from getting close to her family.
Bridget is about to tell Nick and Taylor the truth about the egg-switch, when Dr. Mills stops her and gives her proof that the eggs were logged out at different times. Bridget tries to reassure herself that what Dr. Mills is saying is actually the truth.
Tuesday 16 September 2008Episode 5091 As Stephanie is trying to convince Ashley to pursue Ridge, Felicia convinces Ridge to give Ashley a chance. Ridge calls Ashley, and they agree to go on a date at her house. Ashley fears that she will become caught in the middle of Brooke and Ridge, but she and Ridge start to bond on their date that evening.
Bridget makes up an excuse to Brooke about why she has been stressed recently. Brooke expresses her fears to Bridget that Stephanie will get in the way of her and Ridge becoming a family once again. As Bridget leaves Brooke's, Stephanie comes to pick up R.J.
Wednesday 17 September 2008Episode 5092 After Stephanie tells Brooke that she no longer has a strong hold on the Forrester family, Brooke refuses to let Stephanie take R.J. to Ridge, claiming that he needs to come himself. Ridge and Ashley flirt on their date, after which he goes over to Brooke's house to see his son. Brooke pulls Ridge into a kiss, asking him to spend the night with his family.
Ashley is annoyed at Stephanie for putting her between Ridge and Brooke's problems. While Rick worries that the other men in Ashley's life will not be good enough for her, he realizes that the best way to stay connected to Phoebe is through music and singing.
Bridget tells him that their mother wants to go back to Ridge, but Rick does not think that Brooke can handle another rejection from him.
Thursday 18 September 2008Episode 5093 Brooke tries to use R.J. to convince Ridge to spend the night, but he refuses. Stephanie tries to convince Ashley that Ridge is a good man. He returns to Ashley saying that things are over with Brooke.
Stephanie goes over to Brooke's house to tell Brooke that Ridge is with Ashley now and will never come back to her, which Brooke refuses to believe.
Constantine and Phoebe record what they think will be a hit. Rick, angry that Phoebe has spent so much time with Constantine, proposes a contest in which they each sing with Phoebe and whoever wins gets to work with Phoebe. All three agree to the singing competition.
Friday 19 September 2008Episode 5094 Ridge urges Phoebe not to centre her life around a man, and feels the singing competition is proof of how possessive Rick is over her. Ridge is concerned over Rick's unfaithfulness, but Phoebe insists they have moved past it.
Ridge and Constantine discuss their mutual disgust for Phoebe and Rick's relationship. Constantine agrees to help lay down tracks for Rick and Phoebe's song, but Rick doesn't believe Constantine will actually go through with it. Rick senses Constantine is in love with Phoebe.
Brooke and Ashley continue to fight over Ridge. Ridge tells Ashley he is uncomfortable with the fact that there is another woman in Rick's life besides Phoebe.

Monday 22 September 2008Episode 5095Ridge invites Ashley to a fourth of July pool party, where everyone is extremely welcoming. Ashley wants to come clean about her and Rick, but both Rick and Felicia urge her not to. Brooke is crushed when she shows up at the pool party and she realizes that Ridge is moving on with Ashley.
Constantine works alone on his and Phoebe's duet, while Rick and Phoebe work together to find the prefect song for their duet. Rick hangs up on Constantine when he calls, and Phoebe reveals that Constantine recorded the message from whoever the woman Rick was seeing from Rick's phone and saved it for her.
Tuesday 23 September 2008Episode 5096 Ashley wants to reveal her past relationship with Rick, even though he doesn't want to.
Constantine and Rick fight over the phone message Constantine showed to Phoebe. Phoebe tells Rick that she doesn't need to know about the woman he saw when they were broken up. Phoebe is confident that she and Constantine will win the contest.
Stephanie is pleased to find Ridge and Ashley kissing. Stephanie antagonizes Brooke to the point where she leaves a business meeting that they are having. Ridge then leaves to find Brooke.
Stephanie tells Ashley that Brooke is her competition. Ridge suggests that it may not have been the best idea for Brooke to come back to work at Forrester Originals.
Wednesday 24 September 2008Episode 5097 Ridge tells Eric and Stephanie that his relationship with Brooke is over. Stephanie suggests Ridge pursue a relationship with Ashley. Ridge tells Ashley his relationship with Brooke is over, and she is the woman he wants.
A mysterious man tries to pick up Brooke at the bar. Donna calls Brooke and tells her she is going to miss her plane if Brooke doesn't come home soon to watch the kids. As Brooke leaves, the man slips his phone number into Brooke's bag. She knocks into him and spills his alcoholic drink on her.
Donna leaves the kids alone because she believes Brooke is coming into the driveway. The kids are accidentally left home alone because it turned out to not be Brooke's car pulling into the driveway.
Carl tells Bridget that Dr. Mills is retiring and does not want any more Marone baby scandal. Bridget is worried about Brooke.
Phoebe walks in on Ashley and Rick talking, and Rick tells her that they were discussing her busy schedule. Phoebe tells Rick she has forgotten about the other woman.
Thursday 25 September 2008Episode 5098 Hope calls 911 after she and R.J. spend the night alone. Brooke wakes up and realizes she spent the night in her car. Stephanie and Dorothy (from Child Protective Services) arrive at Brooke's house, and it is revealed that the two know each other from past work on the Abuse Prevention Council.
Brooke arrives and is in shock that Donna left the kids home alone. It's hard for everyone to believe Brooke's story when they smell booze and Stephanie finds the cocktail napkin. Brooke is shocked to find that Dorothy works for CPS, and assures her nothing like this will happen again. Stephanie tells Brooke if something else does happen, it will be the last.
Constantine sees Rick talking to Madison, and assumes that she is the other woman Rick has been seeing. He tries to get information on Madison and Rick from Felicia.
Friday 26 September 2008Episode 5099 Brooke watches as Nick plays with the kids. She tells him she still loves him. Brooke makes an appointment with Taylor and asks Nick to watch the kids. Brooke tells Taylor she feels she is an unfit mother, as Nick shows the kids how to make a map look old by burning the edges with his lighter.
Eric discovers Stephanie and Dorothy have a past. Eric doesn't think Stephanie should get involved. Stephanie is shocked to see Nick with the kids. Nick vows that he won't let Stephanie set Brooke up for failure. Ashley offers Ridge her support.

Monday 29 September 2008Episode 5100 Ashley and Ridge feel connected, but agree to wait for the perfect moment to sleep together. Taylor suggests to Brooke that she is addicted to men and romance.
Nick tells Stephanie he won't let her take R.J. from Brooke. The kids tackle Nick, whose lighter falls onto the floor. Stephanie introduces Dorothy to Ridge and Ashley, and tells her the two are dating. Ridge goes to check on the children, after he suspects Stephanie is up to no good.
While Brooke is in the kitchen making dinner, Hope and R.J. pick up Nick's lighter. Just as Nick realizes his lighter is missing, Brooke enters her living room to find her children surrounded by flames.
Tuesday 30 September 2008Episode 5101 Brooke and Ridge realize that Hope knows how the fire started, but she is distracted when Stephanie and Dorothy walk in. Brooke wants Stephanie to leave, but Dorothy will not retreat without an explanation.
The fireman figures out what started the fire, and after Hope explains what happened, the fireman expresses to Brooke the importance of having good fire extinguishers around the house. Dorothy feels that the children should be taken out of Brooke's care for the night, and after some prodding, Ridge finally agrees.
At the end, Dorothy mentions that she thinks Brooke is guilty of neglecting her children and suggests an investigation of her. Brooke becomes hysterical.
