The battle of heavyweights as we know and love them

Guys, have you ever asked yourself this question?
Do we really lack talent or it is just coincidence?
Is it because competition is at that high level?
Or ke eng vele??

              vs

Now that the Boxing Gloves....ubani iboss? are worn who is going to take the of being the most creative and entertaining.

Zone 14

A kasi story line with a two fimalies fighiting like cat and dog (I thought of the Montagues and the Capulets) soccer element

Shooting Stars

A story about well rivalry with a soccer elements

Hard copy

Newspaper and a lot of drama

Scandal!

Need I say more?????

What is fascinating is that Hard Copy was introduced to the small screen and then voila!! Scandal! Everywhere….same concept….the only difference is that Scandal! was launched as a soapie in the same timeslot as Generations (competing for ARs) which at a later stage changed

Strictly Come Dancing

Well, this is not a South African concept, but since this show graced S2 I have been glued since season 1 and loved it to bits
It is nice, hilarious at times and glassy in its own way. Those who have watched it knows that it is not a piece of cake to turn a celebrity into a dancing Queen or King (think Uyanda; Vanessa Carriera and Baby Jake); but if rhythm is part of their being, then the show is just beautiful to watch( think Twakkie; HHP; Zuraida and lekgoa le la la china eyes…eish I forgot her name mara she was damn good not to be mentioned and Zwai too)

Superdance

A search to find SA’s best latin dancers or so.
The only difference is that this show introduces stars from the public and not celebrities.

Wildroom

A kid’s program where the kids call in; play competitions and can come to the show with friends, or something like that

Craze’d out
Crazed out
A kid’s program where kids call inn; play competitions or something like that. (did’nt I type something like this seconds ago?? Ag never mind)

Guys is it me or we are watching the same thing on different channels and they have different names?
Have you realised this as well or ke tsubile patje??
If you have which shows have been copied?

everything said here is only opnions so dont get all worked up and start fighting. bloggers will diss your fav show and when they do (cause they will) take it like a blogger and dont fight. if you cant leave my blog in peace. the writer of this blog wants all participating to do so in a great monday spirit and will diable any reply that is off the rails. hehehehe, i;m not kidding. thank God one can google for pictures. ndiya bulela google

you are right BM and it is boring
like in the soapies, the story line will be that everyone will fall pregnant and loose the babies....i mean a ruri tota?

I have a problem with soapies having the same story line. ie  Gay mania on both ETV AND SABC soapies- Indian Weddings on both chanells bores the grey matter out of my head. BORING - BORING BORING

I'm just grateful that there's no wrestling on sabc...pretty please don't copy that bullsh*t.

OMW, just remembered there's a SA version on SABC2 on Saturdays emini (isakhona?) anyway it's better than the 7 days a week ka e...Looks like e copies SABC.

yes TL e copies SABC
when i was working there last year (good thing i left before cash problems) i asked how does it happen. i learned that some sabc people sell the "idea" to e and because at e there are no million formalities like with sabc' the show gets to be aired quickly.

so my conclusion is e copies sabc.....otherwise why would they fill so many late prime slots with wwe?
who watches those things anyway?
if they have great content then wwe would be put on saturday morning slots for e.g. where they always put informecials

and by the way i forgot to put soccer zone VS e shibobo

dang these people lack creativity......but i guess this is the price of free on e

they also copied s1's slogan...home of soccer during the confed and said home of entertainment........duhhhhh
ba dlala Rambo....pluuuuuzeee and have a nerve to advertise it like it is District 9!!!

they need to do something asap!!!

I agree with all of u...or im too exhausted a ketsebe..
But tv lic television is soooooo so...i just switch it on and mute it...and watch a series on my pc untill something crops up tht catches my eye and i put the volume up.
Anyhows..big ups to the little tht is being done, im not nearly as creative as the sabc crew however questionable theirs is...

i also think tht the serieses could be lifen up things but.....on tv lic telly they come way too late when u have watched them on dvd or dstv for those who have...
hai.....but i love my tv,i'll keep it on mute anyways....

What do i watch on tv anyway: News, Generations, homeaffairs sumtimes, this and tht sometimes....oprah always has the doctors and ga di na matlakgogedi ditaba tsa bona...

Im just mumbling now arent i?.....kelemme answer ur Qs Bluerosy

Guys is it me or we are watching the same thing on different channels and they have different names?  Its not just u, i'll be on ur side ko court on this one
Have you realised this as well or ke tsubile patje?? .....i hadnt qualified it ,yet, but i think thts the reason my tv is alwasy on mute....and i dont do weed:-)
If you have which shows have been copied? I wish the kiddies progarm on tube had stayed the same...they shoudl have pimped Dub,atleast tht was different...and he used to have a female companion loooooong ago, what happened to her...wasnt she called Cody????
But most things are all the same...i miss late knight with kgomotso.......i know she is not david latterman or jimmy kirmel, but she did the sa way....
