Toeks receives unexpected news from Erna and she has to close the coffee shop immediately. It’s a very sad day for her, but she receives support from all the staff. Elise’s stand-up show goes down swimmingly, but will the fame ruin her relationship with Jerry.
Donkerman pulls Stefanie into his little game and she is forced to solve a riddle. Will she be able to save Gideon from yet another injection? At finds out Franz is missing his lectures and sends Ingrid to investigate. What she finds also raises her suspicion.

Stefanie reaches breaking point and realizes they have to take drastic measures to save Gideon in time. She starts scheming with Franz to unmask the identity of Gideon's abductor. Unfortunately he has plans of his own that they don’t reckon with. They're going to have to pull out all the stops to get to Gideon before its too late.
Malan is full of new ideas, since the coffee shop closed. Toeks starts to fume when she finds out about it. Elise's partying is spinning out of control. Pippa takes her to task on her bad behaviour, but Veronica suspects that she might have a bigger problem than they think.

Veronica covers for Elise, but gets a nasty surprise. Elise picks a fight with all and sundry, not realising they are trying to help her. Ingrid stumbles upon the reason for all the secrecy, while Donkerman enjoys his bizarre games.

Elise has finally come to her senses and is trying to apologise to everyone. This however, may not be as easy as she thought. At becomes very suspicious of what Ingrid and Franz is up to. By trying to force Franz’s hand, he unknowingly endagers Gideon’s life.
Franz receives the final riddle from Donkerman, but this time they are playing for a very big prize, with very little time. Everybody is angry about the noise levels coming from the Mugg & Bean construction site. Toeks has to please explain, but does get a bit of good news as well.

Gideon wakes up and makes contact, but then his kidnapper comes around as well. Will Franz be able to solve the last riddle in time to save his son? The staff is upset about Gideon’s kidnapping, but Malan forces Elise to go ahead with her stand-up comedy - with disastrous results. Elise reaches breaking point, but Matrone refuses to give her time off. Pippa tries to reconcile Veronica and Elise, but to no avail. Toeks agrees to help Malan with his coffee shop.

Gideon is admitted to Binneland’s ICU, but nobody can figure out what’s wrong with him; Toeks is nervous about her Mugg & Bean training starting soon, is driving Malan up the walls with her ideas for Dagskof; Elise’s writers block leads to her and Veronica mending their friendship but further conflict between Pippa and Malan; Elise’s stand-up show is well received by the audience, but the Binnelanders are not impressed.

Stef and Franz are tired and worried about Gideon’s who still is not diagnosed. Stef goes home to rest and eat properly. Toeks leave for the first day of training leaving her duties to a contentious Kitte, much to Malan’s frustration. Matron reprimands Elise for demoralising personal in her show and Elise is forced to rethink her approach.
At confirms his love and loyalty to Ingrid. Franz finds Stef sleeping on her bed, before he as well is confronted with Donkerman. Toeks panics about the workload after her first day in training. Donkerman is emotionally torturing Franz with the remedy of Gideon’s illness before Ingrid arrives with handy kitchen utensils.

Jennifer calls Elise in and chastises her for using personal information about her co-workers at Binneland and Elise decides to stop doing it. Franz asks At to arrange a meeting between himself and Ulrich in order to find out what Ulrich used to inject Gideon with. Toeks loses it when she tries to advise Malan about his coffee at dagskof. Stefanie is hysterical when she finds out that Ulrich is coming to see Franz in Gideon’s room at Binneland.

Gideon has survived his ordeal and Stefanie is in the seventh heaven. But, alas, her happiness is short-lived. Elise causes havoc by losing her voice. Though everybody is not so sure if it is real or just a clever act.

It’s Valentines Day and the Binneland couples spoil their partners. At is giving Ingrid a diamond bracelet, Gideon gets heart shaped balloons from Stef and even Kitte is cooking to spoil Toeks on her return. Malan becomes more and more suspicious about the situation between At and Dewald. Jen gives Gideon a pep talk about a healthier lifestyle and he refuse to inform Stef on his condition because of irrational fear.
Pippa reprimands Malan for his lack of understanding of Elise’s voice lost. She and Rico suspect it is psychosomatic. Kitte’s trouble for Toeks is all in vain as she has got a splitting headache and wants to lie down. Jerry has met somebody else and he officially ends his relationship with Elise.

Gideon is discharged from hospital, but Jennifer warns that he should take care of himself; Pippa’s suspicions about Elise are confirmed and Malan agrees to have a heart-to-heart with Elise; Stefanie realises Gideon has not been completely honest about his health and she confronts him about it; Malan’s grandfather spends his first night at the Koster house, and it soon becomes clear this will not be a friendly visit.

Both Rico and Franz make comments that reminds Jennifer of how lonely she is. A phone call and voice from the past only makes things worse. Toeks is so busy that she hardly has time for Kitte. When he mentions this to Matrone, she makes an interesting suggestion. Gideon is keen to get on with his normal daily routine, but this causes tension between him and Stefanie.
It appears to Malan as if Dewald is settling in nicely, but Dewald suffers an episode, which leads to whole new can of worms being opened. Dewald and At fights about the past and Dewald warns At that he knows more than At thinks.
Tuesday, 19 February at 18:30 (343)
Dewald makes serious allegations about At’s past. When Ingrid confronts At he’ll have to know his story. In the meantime, it becomes obvious that Malan must make a plan with Dewald’s living arrangements soon, especially when Roelien tells him that he wanted to attack Ingrid.
Stefanie can’t stop worrying about Gideon and sends her mom to keep an eye on him. An irate Gideon tells her exactly how serious his condition can become. Matrone convinces Jennifer to treat herself from top to toe at a spa. Unfortunately, Elise must withstand the worst of it when it doesn’t have the desired effect on Jen.

Stefanie reaches new emotional depths and Franz is upset about Gideon and Ingrid’s “solution”. Jennifer looks for a chance to ask Rico to her school reunion, but will she have the guts? Jennifer is shocked when Matrone suggests that it may be the start of her menopause.
At insists that Dewald be moved form his house, and Malan books him into Binneland for tests. Franz is shocked about the strength of his medication. Dewald tells Jennifer that At stole the money to build the hospital.

Chris tries to find out why Jennifer is avoiding him, Matrone suggests she gets a hobby to fill up her day. But then Jennifer gets “unexpected guests” and she has to get busy. Pippa and Rico know that Gideon’s illness is taking it’s toll on Stefanie and Gideon’s relationship. Ingrid thinks that Stefanie doesn’t know what she’s letting herself in for, but has to admit that the only thing she can do, is support Stefanie and Gideon.
Hannelie is worried when she finds out that Dewald is off his medication, because Franz doesn’t think he has Alzheimer’s. Franz then hears Dewald’s accusations against At, first hand and when Stefanie finds out about it, she realises she needs to know if At is a liar, what if there is another Koster child that no one knows about?

Jennifer and Franz discover that some of the accusations against At are actually true and they become more and more convinced that Dewald has been misdiagnosed by his previous doctor; matron Ria informs Toeks of Kitte’s eccentric behaviour at work and Toeks decides to catch him off guard; Jennifer feels nervous and insecure about her school reunion and Rico tries to gauge what his role as her date will be; Stefanie makes an important decision about her future with Gideon - one Ingrid does not approve of.

It’s going much better with Stefanie and Gideon, but Franz is concerned about Gideon’s attitude. He decides to take action. Pippa tells Malan about At’s little secret, but when he goes home to talk to Dewald about it, he finds out something has gone terribly wrong. Jennifer is depressed after the reunion, but Veronica drops something in conversation that gives her hope. Dewald finally reveals the truth to At. Only problem is, they are not alone when he chooses to do so.

Malan is desperate to find out why At had Dewald admitted into a psychiatric facility. After the reunion-fiasco, Jennifer tries a new tack on meeting someone special. Gideon is confronted with the harsh realities of his work while Roelien steamrolls ahead with arrangements for At and Ingrid’s reception.

Malan fears for his grandfather’s life, especially when he makes a damning revelation about At’s past. There’s hell to pay when Malan confronts his father with it. Ingrid realizes Stefanie and Franz are hiding something from her and she finds out she might not really be married to At Koster after all. Is Eddie Knox’s death perhaps Gideon’s fault?
In the hope of redemption he plays detective and, to Stefanie’s dismay finds out the truth. Jennifer’s love life causes the one misunderstanding after the other. Rico thinks she wants more than just friendship and Franz thinks she wants to send him on a blind date. She will have to swallow her pride and please explain if she doesn’t want to lose her friends.

At is upset that Malan is avoiding him, but the news that Ingrid is moving out shatters him. Ingrid realises she is one of the last to hear about At’s secrets. She upsets Roelien by refusing to attend the marriage reception. Toeks’ revelation that she will be sleeping over in Johannesburg plunges Kitte into a deep depression, which worries Matrone.
Rico becomes the laughing stock after he confronts Jennifer about her possible feelings for him. Malan asks Franz to run extensive test on Dewald, but to keep the results secret from At. Malan decides to seek answers from his mom’s diary but Pippa tries to discourage him. An excited Jennifer receives messages on her internet profile and Matrone convinces her to go on a date.
