was so annoyed with the way thando and mzamo were calling the babies "these things"...like seriously?!. 
mzamo looked all excited to see his/her baby  niece on the vid clips from home...so fake that one...i wonder if he calls his niece "a thing" mxxm!

I didnt see much but Kat is enjoying being a mommy hey and by the looks of things she's gonna make a good mom one day, Iris and Mk were bonding with the baby oohh you should see Poloko with the baby wow cute man i'm enjoying this task not sure about the housemates *gigles* 

Thando is upset that MK didnt want to father her child that's why, Nomzamo is a fake period

I believe MK and Iris look good together.  She is a wild child that MK feels the need to tame, and MK is wise but boring nje and needs Iris to keep him interesting and relevant. I just love them qha and voting for them!!

Poolie on the other hand is showing up, it turns out that the guy is interesting, i was watching him an Loko yesterday, He made me laugh with his jokes.

Sol is loud but I like him and has this huge personality and doesn't take himself too seriously, love that about him.

though i like Kat i don't get her game.  i think smart & beautiful but  she's confused nje.

@Sbam I like your analysis of the guys and couples up there, spot-on on all imo. I think MK and Iris would complement each other in a healthy way, its just a pity Iris isn't sincere with the poor guy, she is too shallow to see the value..., her loss.

21-year-old Durban student Jase became the fourth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house on Sunday.

Jase left the reality show after receiving the least number of votes from the public and although leaving the house was a sad occasion, the “pretty boy” of the house is glad to finally have his freedom back.

“I missed being able to move around and do what I wanted. I also missed having a wide selection of food and not having to ask ‘Biggie’ to bring something in the house,” he says.

Jase even bought himself a meal from KFC to celebrate his freedom from the house, before watching his favourite team Manchester United’s big loss last night.

On what he is going to miss about the Big brother house, the marketing student mentioned a few things including, surprisingly, the drama and arguments.

“I’m going to miss everything about the house, the drama, the late night talks, the Jacuzzi. It was all quiet an experience.”

Jase leaves the house with no hard feelings towards his on-off love interest Kat of his love rival Sol.

“I really don’t blame Kat for anything and I believe that her feelings for me were genuine. Unfortunately the environment we were in was not a healthy one for a relationship. I hold nothing against her and I hope we can still be friends outside the house,” he says.

Sex in the house

Mandla and Lexi were the talk of the town following their steamy session in the shower on Thursday night, something which Jase denies knowing anything about.

“I don’t know anything about what happened between the two of them” he says while laughing.

Asked if he would have had sex in the house if the opportunity had presented itself, Jase responds with a big “NO”.

“I wouldn’t do it because I think it would be very disrespectful to my parents and loved ones who would be watching,” he says.

Lessons from the Big brother house

“Coming in 21, I was a bit naïve and the Big brother experience taught me a lot. I grew a lot. After interacting with different people from different walks of life, I’m more open-minded,” he says.

“I also need to brush up on my leadership skills. I learned a lot of lessons and I plan to apply them to my life”

What bad habits from the fellow housemates are you not going to miss?

“Lexi constantly walking around naked and Sol talking all the time” he quips.

“But I’m sure the housemates also won’t miss my bad habits of chewing with my mouth open and looking in the mirror often”, he adds.

Now that he is out of the Big brother house, Jase plans to work towards a career in the entertainment industry, either acting or presenting although finishing his degree is also top on his list of things to do.

09:35 Sol schools those who'll listen this morning about the history of gangs around the world. He focuses on how gangs originated from the Italian Mafia.

09:26 MK opens up about a past relationship that fell through the cracks and Kat confesses sees marriage on the horizon for herself soon.

09:16 The three young mothers finally pull themselves out of bed and get on with the day.

08:45 MK is doing well as a father. He can be seen feeding and nursing his baby girl for breakfast this morning.

08:40 Thando the nanny and Mzamothe reluctant parent ask MK to sleep with the babies in the nursery tonight because they fear they might sleep through it all.

08:22 With it being Social Awareness Week, Big Brother gave the Housemates babies and little families to raise, and we all know child-rearing is no walk in park. New mothers Kat, Loko and Iris didn’t get much shut-eye as their bundles of joy turned into wailing nightmares throughout the night.

Ncaw, Jase's post eviction interviews are sound. Uncharacteristic of the naïve kid he was in the house. There is hope yet. I think he would fit in on yotv or hectic nine nine with all that jumpy energy he is about. Goodluck young man.

Shuuu... I've been out of the country. And I was booked at an accomodation with no DSTV and no wifi... such torture!

The las BBM action I had was the Monday night nomination show... I will need to catch up with what everyone has been saying since then.

So I've just cast my first vote for Kat.

MK - I just realise we could really be unfair to be comparing his maturity level with those of teh other housemates. He is 32, he must be mature. The rest of them are just still kids really...
I was considering voting for him because I feel he dosn't deserve to even be nominated to begin with and it would be a shame for him to leave that way. Has anyone ever even nominated him?

But as I go through all your posts I see that Kat really needs my votes... we can't have a situation where Lexie ends up getting more votes than Kat - that would just be a disgrace.

Iris - I love her but I don't see her leaving before the likes of Thando and Sol really... so she is safe.

I can't split my votes, I learnt the hard way with Khosi being evicted. STICK TO ONE PERSON!

Aptly called Socially Aware Week, Big Brother has wound the pressure cooker up a notch with Task we prefer to call ‘baby boomers’. If the Housemates ever they underestimated parent-hood this Task would slap them into a reality filled with wailing new born babies, soiled nappies and sleepless nights; as it seems to have already done with fledgling families.



It goes without saying that we’ll be looking out for what values they hope to impart to their growing offspring this week and whether they are good parents or not. A more important question however is; will the new parents look any good doing it? We are going to keep our eyes peeled for the whole package.

There have been children, mothers and fathers since the beginning of time. Many have pulled it off and many managed only by the skin on their chins. It is no doubt that under the pressure people crack but we don’t want to see the Housemates break a sweat because there’s nothing as impressive as a yummy mummy or even a dandy daddy.

The Housemates are no strangers to pressure having gone through more than a fair share of strikes, reproaches, losses and now an all-out possibility of Eviction. Just how are they going to raise their new babies under the general dysfunction? How would Kat explain to her baby boy why uncle Mandla always walks around the House in his under wear?

Each week the pressure chooses an unsuspecting poor sod to rile up and play for a fool. Lola was the first to reach breaking point for all the world see. Jase lost his cool with Mandla over a bottle of Shap Shap.

We just hope this week parent keep their aplomb, for the sake of their babes if nothing else.

Am not fascinated by mapunapuna a lexi mina plus she is so insecure in as much brave as she tries to fool the HM, always questioning Mandla about the other ladies of the house in their little nest.

nna didn't like uLexi at first but after all the hatred towards her am Lexified. i lost interest in the other ladies coz of their hatred they don't dislike uLexi they HATE her, u can even see it in their eyes wen they look at her. no one deserves that. i believe no matter hw someone annoys/irritates don't hate coz u not perfect yoself. There is a difference btwn someone who is not yo friend and an enemy. uLexi is an enemy in that house.

A heated discussion around life, sex and the repercussion of our choices ensued after Mzamo read today's Task. This bunch were clearly passionate about Social Awareness and family planning which were the hot topics handed out for them to hash out in their talk show.

The Housemates were to develop dynamic and relevant talk show content that would educate their audience and spark healthy debate. Like every other talk show worth its spot on the air this one needed to be chock full of features that would resonate with the emotions of the audience and keep them glued to their screens.

While we all thought MK would jump at the chance to share all his wisdom and teaching, as he so often has done in the past, it was Thando who seemed to lead the discussion. She wasn’t shy to share her expansive knowledge and worldview on everything from contraception to ARVs for pregnant parents.

Finally a challenge where Thando would add significant value to a Task, we all know how sharp the gal is.

Big Brother expects the Housemates to launch their talk show tomorrow morning fit with a strong host, expert guests from either side of the discussion and three callers who might relay their experience.

We have something to say

Everyone responded creatively to the Task with Lexi adding that sex at an early age is not a good and many agreeing with her.

We hope this Task brings them together as they all seemed to share common ground on this topic.

Thats how passionate I am about not voting for Lexi MsKim...i would even support people I cant tolerate.

imagine if uLexi and Mandla if somehow they do end up together. their hse wld be disgusting I tell u. naked mama n dada n babaz....my point exactly! They never even make up their beds in BB house they just pop in/out of those messy sheets, even a frog pops out from underground when it rains to get the joy of some good clean fresh water! 

Has anyone noted how many times lexi has already mentioned to mandla "i dont even feel like taking a shower", her chewing on Monday after the nomination show was just so unlady. Sure she is beautiful, sexy and averagely smart but i cant even imagine what a milli will do her already arrogant attitude...someone in that house can definately put the milli to good and worthy use!
