A hectic weekend (Work teambuilding and the SAFTA's) with a moerse baabalas does not help anyone at the biggie show, the audience was livelier, but when duty calls; we run! I landed at the biggie studio just in time to have a quick chat with the guests; Maureen’s mother, Ofunneka’s sister and Tatiana’s best friend… AND the moles!! 

Maureen’s mother is tiny! Maureen definitely has her genes. My first question was “The hot water bottle!!” and she explained that Maureen is a cold person. She gets cold quite easily and the bottle helps. She missed (she is out of the house now so we use past tense) her daughter dearly and she is very supportive of her. Maureen is her second child and the closest to her mother. Maureen does speak to herself at home; only when she is annoyed. Maureen was annoyed a lot in the biggie house but she handled herself well even when pushed; she never lost her cool. 

Maureen’s mom was convinced that Maureen knew that it is a game and she doesn’t take it to heart the things happening in there. She entered the show for the experience. I now wonder if she still thinks the same as Maureen walked out and screamed to all about the love she has for Code. I was distressed, and in a baabalas, you really suffer! Is ignorance really bliss? I don’t think so. I did not want to be in her shoes. Poor Maureen had no idea that seconds after Code walked out the house he was in Juna’s hands, and would not let go! 

Ofunneka’s sister – more like twin sister (I thought), Ebele, they look so alike I thought Ofuneka had walked out the house earlier! We agreed that regardless of how everyone sees Ofunneka in the house, she has a beautiful heart and keeps her word. Ofunneka never voted for Maureen even after the fallout. She keeps her word and is very reliable, says Ebele. She always wanted to enter a reality show an has tried to enter a couple before biggie. It did not matter what kind of reality show, Ofunneka wanted to be in it; for the experience and the money. She loves doing everything we have seen her do in the house, including dancing. 

Nuria, Tatiana’s best friend maintains that Tatiana is being herself in the biggie house; she has a personality that loves people and experiencing life to the fullest. She has a very positive attitude to life and wanted to enter the biggie house for the experience. I, personally, like Tatiana. She is a nice person. Just because she (got) conned by the gazunga dude doesn’t make her a bad person. ;-) 

Victor, Victor, Victor!! Eye-candy indeed! He is a bit chubbier than I had thought he would be. He has watched a bit of biggie. He is an occasional drinker, lives in CapeTown doing modeling work. He is originally from Zimbabwe… Will the looks be as charming for Tatiana? We hope. He has no strategy; he just wants to have a great time and experience a different 8 days. He is very attached to his mobile so will suffer without it. 

Ashanti, beautiful smile indeed! She is a bit skinnier than on her profile picture. As I introduced myself as a tvsa representative; she told me she is a member and her username. She was still in denial about what was happening but she was gonna have a great time. She will miss communicating with her family/friends and her nano ipod. She wants to experience the biggie life and meet new people. 

I promised to only make sure I catch their first shower hour before they were led to the house. 

I was so tired I missed the entire events when the moles went into the house. My dear friend, Solele called me to tell me they must just go! Shoo! My friend! She was really passionate about them leaving because she doesn’t think they understood the game. People, let’s give the moles a chance. They are nervous – within 2 hours you were already tearing them apart – as Solele recounts to me. I am now fully recovered but too much “writing” is keeping me away from biggie now. 

Saterdag! What happened there?!! I was getting myself ready for the SAFTA”s and missed the entire paramedic event. I know we needed action but that takes the award for “The scariest moment in a reality show!” Richard fondling Ofunneka, that is. Richie boy has stepped even further lower on my already llllloooow low pedestal. Shugs, that boy has got issues. Damn pity Lerato was not there long enough to teach him manners! WTF was that!?? Poor Tatiana and her love for the man… And I am told she was right there! Monate thwaaa was clearly on his little gazunga soldiers!! Eish! I am upset! 

How does the Saturday happenings change the stakes? Do you still want Richie to win? Do you think he deserves the money? Poor Maureen must have been scared out of her water bottle. I would have also passed out but damn! With Richie lurking around trying to get into anyone’s pants – that was a good move not to pass out, Maureen. Good gal! 

Code’s welcome home clip – scary! He has to run for presidency! That welcome looked so huge and overwhelming; I was jealous. I was actually annoyed when I saw him again; because he keeps playing us – the same people he is a part of! He is a damn DJ – part of the media world and he tells each of us a different tale about Juna’s pregnancy. I have decided that I choose to believe Juna. 

Kwaku’s eviction party – I just thought Gals! Gals! Gals! And Different areas codes(the songs). He looked fabulous in that white suit… Shooo! Anyone wants to sponsor a ticket so I can be Kwaku’s groupie; he is going places that one!

My weekend? It can be summed up in two words - Celebville Segolarazzi!
