Simon Davies presents a series looking at modernist homes in the UK and the people who live in them. He travels the length and breadth of the country seeking out attractive abodes designed by leading architects of the modern movement.
The show includesa Hertfordshire home with a distinctive and extraordinary paraboloid roof, and the Bromley home of designer David Callcott, which is fusion of stark modernism and art deco.
Simon also visits a couple who purchased one of Scotland’s finest modernist homes solely for the lush garden, only to discover the building’s architectural merits from one of its original designers, who visits the house for the first time in forty years.

This series travels the United Kingdom to discover some of the finest examples of contemporary architecture.
From a minimalist glass cube to an unusual modern thatched manor house, the show introduces a variety of people who all share a common dream of living with the cutting edge of architecture and design.
Houses featured include one which contains an enormous swimming pool in the sitting room, and another with an unusual two storey egg shape dominating the central core of the house.
Living in these amazing homes can take some getting used to - their owners have to get to grips with computer controlled lighting and heating, recycled building materials and a plethora of high tech gadgets.
All of these are supposedly designed to make our modern lives easier and more comfortable, but, as the show reveals, can on occasions be more of a challenge than a convenience.

Antiques RoadshowAntiques Roadshow sets out to reveal those valuable and not-quite-so-valuable antiques tucked away at the back of the cupboard.
Filmed at locations around the British Isles, local residents bring in their personal treasures to be examined. They may have been handed down through generations, discovered in dusty attics or picked up in junk shops, and all are commented on and valued by the Roadshow experts.

Help is on hand from a team of experts, who issue the families with a set of rules aimed at kicking the bad habits and putting the children on the road to a much happier, healthier future.

Oz And James' Big Wine AdventureTop Gear presenter James May knew nothing about wine, but that's all changed since wine expert Oz Clarke invited him on a month-long trip to France to learn all about it.
In this second season of the series, Oz And James’ Big Wine Adventure, the odd couple reunite at the unlikely venue of Muscle Beach, California, a place synonymous with bronzed, toned body-builders, but also, as Oz reveals, the site of his triumph at the World Wine Tasting Championship in the 1980s.
From there, the pair head off on their next adventure, in a 42-foot motorhome, around the lush valleys and vineyards of California for the next stage of James’ wine education.
