Four WeddingsPremiere date: Thursday 3 March 2011 at 20h30
New episodes air weekly, at 20h30.
Four Weddings provides a ringside seat for the planning, preparation and big day itself, following the journey of four fiancées as they hurtle towards what should be the happiest day of their lives.
But here, each bride-to-be is involved in a competition, and while one ‘contestant’ is getting hitched, the other three guest brides must cast judgement and secretly score each special day.
Everything must be taken into consideration, from the service and food to the entertainment, and even the groom.
The bride with the highest score at the end of each episode wins the ultimate prize; a five star dream honeymoon.
The weddings range from extravagant fairy tale events to a pagan biker wedding, and with the competing brides all critically scrutinising and assessing their rivals’ ceremonies, there’s no shortage of sniping as the four couples embark on the happiest day of their lives.
BBC Entertainment is on DStv, channel 120.
