CRIME & JUSTICE SEASON 2
A follow-up to last year's first Crime & Justice Season, this season features a new line-up of three shows.
Each series premieres on a Monday night, with new episodes nightly for the run of each show:
Father And Son
Premiere date: Monday 12 July at 20h30
Series continues every night at 20h30 (4 episodes)
Set in Manchester and Dublin, Father & Son depicts the complexity of modern inner-city life where crime is now a global business, and where gun culture is an ever more entrenched part of everyday life.
Ex-criminal Michael O'Connor (Dougray Scott) returns to Manchester from a quiet life in Ireland with pregnant girlfriend Anna (Flora Montgomery) in order to save his teenage son Sean from prison. He also wishes to redeem his own troubled past.
Michael was once a king-pin in the Manchester crime-world, running one of the biggest and most dangerous gangs in the city.
A few years back, on a trip to Ireland to pick up some decommissioned weapons to run into Manchester, Michael is arrested. Three days later his wife Lynne is murdered.

Inspector George Gently:
Season 1 and 2Premiere date: Monday 19 July at 20h30

Inspector George Gently is one of the few good men at Scotland Yard in the swinging sixties, his sense of public duty an increasingly rare commodity in a police force where corruption is rife.
In Season 1, Gently decides to retire after the murder of his wife, but not before solving one final case. Relocating to Northumberland, where he is aided by the ambitious young Detective Sargeant John Bacchus, Gently deploys a combination of reason, deduction and a somewhat jaded understanding of human nature to catch his nemesis.
In Season 2, Gently and Bacchus tackle cases involving prostitution and rape when local corruption was the norm and cases were swept under the carpet. They also deal with racism in a world before political correctness, and paedophilia in a children's home, at a time when the notion of organised sexual abuse was unheard of.
Criminal Justice 2Premiere date: Monday 26 July 2010 at 20h30

This season Criminal Justice follows the life of a mother in desperate trouble.
Juliet Miller is married to Joe; a barrister at the height of his professional powers. They have one daughter, 13-year-old Ella.
One night, Juliet stabs Joe in his bed and life will never be the same again. A fragile mother, Juliet travels through the criminal justice system under the constant scrutiny of police, prison and social services, questions of psychological and sexual abuse are raised.
Her case passes through the family courts and she concludes her ordeal in a tense finale in the Crown Court.

A game show presented by Richard Hammond. Crashes, smashes and mud splashes are on the cards as 20 contestants take on one of television's largest and most extreme obstacle courses.
They travel across the globe to the purpose-built Total Wipeout course in Argentina to put their strength, balance and bravery to the test in the hope of winning the 10,000 pounds cash prize, and being crowned Total Wipeout champion.
Amanda Byram assists Richard from the sidelines as the contestants take on challenges such the Big Balls, the Sweeper and the Wipeout Zone.
Robin Hood 2Premiere date: Sunday 25 July 2010 at 18h40

The contemporary retelling of the classic legend returns for a second season.
The season begins in a rapidly changing world. The Sheriff of Nottingham is in the final stages of organising operation Shah Mat - a plot to kill King Richard upon his return from the Holy Land. The Sheriff also wants Robin Hood dead, and with his sister Davina sets about catching him.
As things unfold Robin’s ideals face stern tests as he and his gang have to contend with a traitor in their ranks, a heavily armoured Gisborne intent on wreaking destruction and a sinister scientist employed by the sheriff to produce a chemical weapon.

Dancing With The Stars (the USA version) returns for Season 6. Celebrities in the season are:

- comedian and presenter Adam Carolla
- R&B singer Mario
- NFL star Jason Taylor
- Olympic champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi
- Actors: Steve Guttenberg, Priscilla Presley, Marlee Matlin, Shannon Elizabeth, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Cristián de la Fuente Sabarots.
As with each season, the celebrities are paired with professional dancers, and compete in a live knock-out ballroom dancing competition, performing new dances each episode, until they are eliminated from the competition by a combination of judges and audience.
