Top Gear returns for a new twelfth season with hosts Jeremy, James and Richard back in the driving seat.

This season they bring in trucks to find out how difficult it is to be an HGV driver. They also fly to America to test a new generation of muscle cars (almost bankrupting James May in the process) and they visit Vietnan to attempt to do what the military never has: travel the length of the country in just eight days.

They also share speed-on-budget as they attempt to make a normal.

Also in the season:  the return of the news, the cool wall and The Stig - which puts celebrities through their paces in “Star in a Reasonably Priced car”

Holby City 7
Premiere date: Saturday 10 October 2009 at 18h00 and 19h00 (Double episodes)
Continues: Every Saturday at 18h00 and 19h00

The seventh season of the hospital series which mixes the stories of the lives of the patients with the lives of the staff.

In the season: after suffering a heart attack, Mubbs becomes complacent about his health, leaving much cause for concern for Lola.

Meanwhile, Diana visits Ric in Ghana to persuade him to come home,
but an unexpected emergency sees her miss her own flight back to the UK.

Jess puts on a brave face after the traumatic birth of her baby, and tries to hide her disappointment about both Zubin and her father not being present at the birth.

Owen’s daughter Katie is in town for a few weeks, but his attempts to bond with her are disrupted by
work and her frosty relationship with Diane.

Elsewhere, the VRSA virus is spreading throughout Holby, and Michael is forced to use Chrissie as a scapegoat, blaming cleanliness at the hospital and raising tension levels at Holby sky high.

‘Allo, ‘Allo!  Season 7
Premiere date: Tuesday 20 October 2009 at 16h30
Continues: Every weekday at 16h00 and 16h30 - Once Season 7 ends, the series continues with Season 8

The classic comedy series about the World War II exploits of bar-owner René.

The scenario: in a small café in Nouvion, the harassed proprietor is having a trying war. With the German army in residence in the bar, René is risking his neck to aid the Resistance by hiding two British airmen and a radio transmitter upstairs in his mother-in-law’s bedroom.

But René's real problem is his wife, Edith, and what she will do to him when she finds out about the affairs he is having with his two sexy waitresses.

These two seasons of the show see René continuing his search for the ever elusive Fallen Madonna painting. The scrapes he gets into along the way include promising to marry Yvette in secret, fleeing to England and receiving a medal from Churchill, and rescuing airmen from a drain while using a
gypsy fair as a cover.
