Noel Gallagher has slammed Emeli Sande and Paloma Faith insisting he doesn't "get" their music. The former Oasis frontman said that their music was made for the elderly.
"You look at the 'best' now. Paloma Faith? Do me a favour. Who's f****** decide she's a star? Emeli Sande? That is f****** music for grannies. I don't get it," the rocker told British daily newspaper The Sun.
Noel has paid his dues in the music business and feelS manufactured pop stars should have to prove themselves and do the same.
Noel went on to explain that he's sick and tired of being asked to pen tracks for younger artists, claiming:"Here's another thing, I must have been asked to write some songs for people 20 times. 'hey man we should write some songs together.' F****** write your own songs. I spent 46 years busting my a** to get here, slaving over a line in a song for a month," the 45-year-old ranted."So no,I won't write a song with you, you little p****." How's that for profanity.
This is not the first time Noel has given young musicians two middle fingers. One Direction and Justin Bieber were his targets at some point.
Noel previously took public jabs at his brother, Liam. The had an infamous fued in 2009. Guess it is just another day at the office for Noel?
