Episode 2: The Girl Who Is Co-Dependent

In this second episode in the third season of America’s Next Top Model and the girls’ expectations of the competition are blown out of the water. For the first time ever on the show, the girls are flown to Jamaica for a photo shoot. This tropical paradise forms the backdrop for their first sexy swimsuit shoot. When they arrive the wannabe models meet with Jay Manuel and J. Alexander.
After failing to make much of an impression and with only thirteen beds available in their New York apartment, one potential Top Model is eliminated at breakfast the next day.
The remaining ladies land in New York and are whisked off to the Walforf-Astoria, their new home for the duration of the competition.
After arguing over the rooms they will be sleeping in, the girls settle in and some of them comment on the trip, especially the flight to Jamaica. When the plane hit turbulence Ann was so afraid she started crying and called for Eva, who she referred to as ‘mommy’.
To end the roller coaster journey off, the girls must face the judging panel, including newcomer Nol Marin, where they are criticised on their photos and another girl is eliminated.
