Black Cat is a Japanese Manga series about Train Hartnett who goes by the codename Black Cat.
Train is an elite assassin who is employed by a group called the Chronos Numbers. The organisation's goal is it is to restore balance to the world through carefully plotted assassinations.
As the series unfolds Train is forced to question his allegiance to them after he meets Sven Volfield, a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter who seeks to save a young girl before Black Cat can carry out his mission.
In a twist of fate, Black Cat decides to switch sides and join forces with Sven in order to take on the Chronos.
Sought by both the Chronos Numbers and a Taoist revolutionary group, Sven and Black Cat quickly realize that they will need more than luck to ensure their survival.

Gantz centres around a mysterious black sphere who's been trapped in an apartment along with others that no-one can escape from.
The story begins when Kei Kurono and his long-lost school friend Kato try to save an old man from train tracks. The pair are run over and think they've been killed but discover a whole new life awaits them.
They find themselves in the same apartment as Gantz as well as others who share the same fate. In order to stay “alive” the captives must obey Gantz’s orders and undertake missions to eliminate elusive aliens.
