BIOF: The Date, Long distance Love and The Bag

Okay since Zam asked for the recap I’ll do it and you will also add on what happened last night if I live out anything.

Okay we know Hlelo was set to go on a date with model, Stevel Marc. So she went to the mall and waited for the dude for about 35 minutes. Hlelo called her twin to tell her that Stevel is not there and she’s been waiting for too long. By that time Ntando was on her way to Hush night club with Bulelwa.

After 35 minutes Stevel rocked up as jolly as ever like something didn’t happen. He didn’t even apologized for being late. I was like WTF I would have thrown a tantrum if I was her I don’t like waiting especially waiting alone.

Hlelo told him that he is late. I didn’t hear clearly what he said but it was not an excuse. He just told her she looks beautiful and she blushed and that was it they went inside to watch a movie.

While they were seating there waiting for the movie to begin they started chatting about stuff. Stevel even asked Hlelo “when was the last time she got laid?” She replied that it was 5 months ago. And Stevel was like “huh? 5 months ago”? He sort of made a joke about and he said girl “you don’t tell when the last time you got laid”.

Stevel said something about his six pack. Hlelo wanted to touch them and she did. She was feeling it trying to see how many packs he’s got. She even wanted him to show her his six pack but he refused.

At that time I thought okay these two need a room right now. And Hlelo even said in her narration of the scene that she wanted to take the guy home! And laughed.

I got so bored when Stevel said they should do the scene he liked from the movie they watched. The scene was for Hlelo to wait for Stevel to come up from the escalators and then kiss.

Hlelo couldn’t do it no matter how many times they tried. Hayi shem Stevel was playing with the poor girl. It was just stupid. People were even watching them at the mall.

Anyway that time Ntando was drunk at Hush shem she couldn’t even open her eyes, hehehe but they quickly removed the cameras from her.

Hlelo told her siblings about her date with Stevel the model. Immediately when her brother, Fortune heard he’s a model. He sort of disapproved and asked “why a model”. Ntando defended him saying there’s nothing wrong with a model.

The topic shifted from Hlelo’s date to her having a man. It seems like the brothers didn’t know that she’s seeing someone. But it happened that Fortune once saw the guy and thought he is a player.

Ntando said he is not a player and asked Fortune “are you trying to say I’m dating a player.” He said he doesn’t mean it like that but he could see that the guy knows about girls and how to treat them and stuff like that.

Ntando’s boyfriend stays far from Joburg. The siblings were not really sure about the guy being far but Ntando said she trusts him. They were also surprised that he is older than her.

Well dunno how old the guy is because they didn’t say his age. Ntando said the guy is three years older than Fortune so if you know Fortune’s age then you know the guy’s age.

The twinz went shopping for accessories at Edgars then they had an argument about the bag that Hlelo picked first. Ntando also wanted the bag. She said she saw the bag first and Hlelo said “well you saw it first I picked it up first”.

They spent about more than 5 minutes talking about the bag thing with Edgars’ shop assistants trying to solve the matter.

They even had a talk about the bag thing with their older brother, Fortune and some other lady. They both left with Ntando still upset about the bag.

They ended up setting up something like a camp that they will go to with their siblings. That’s what they going to show us next week.

Oh and Fortune got them a car, dunno whether he bought it for them or its sponsored. It was a surprise he had for them. It seem like they are sharing the car oh well...

Stevel isn'ta gentleman, he shouldk apologised for being late and said he should do something for her to make up for it. One could also tell he is so full of himself hence he goes Movies on the poor twin.

Yazi the whole when last did you get laid is a yawn for your first date. You only talk about those things once you guys are in a relationship.

The bag fighting thing was very funny yazi. Kwaaa @ Hlelo sayig she saw the bag months ago. Ntando is very full of herself and wanna be in charge

hi lovely pipo...... i loved the show but while stil on "the loving the show part" i found the model unreal. i mean if that was him being the usual self..... hai hai i do believe it though. thats a reality tv show so i want more bt besides its awesome.

the hand bag issue if it was my sister she would be lyk "get real, its not an oxygen box , its a bag and you can leave without it, now stop being a brat and get moving" so the argument thing wud've being a 60 seconds thing and walaaaa. out of the store. lol.

Thanks Cheesa for always coming through. I am not surprised that Hlelo waited for so long for Stevel, he is her celebrity crush after all. If either I had a chance to go on a date with my celeb crushes, Idris Elba or Jason Statham and they were late, heck I'd wait for days if I had to.

He was just fooling around with Hlelo making her look stupid. I mean if he was into her he should have apologised for being late. But none of that happened. So it was clear to me from the word go that Hlelo is wasting her time here.

I also agree the guy is full of himself, uvele wandidika shem mna. And this whole energy he had and laughing all the time, hayi suka he was annoying.

my sister and I argue about such all the time and I always end up "compromising" cos im the bigger one . Yeah that also happens with me and my sister but because I'm older I comprise. But it does not happen alot coz I am much older than her so we dont want the same things most of the time.

Why were they given one car though? Yhu hayi this twinz thing yabo is too much mna I would demand that we each get a car even if its the same model and colour ke. This sharing thing hayi no!

Mbulela... My generalization is not an abstraction... Too many "beautiful people" bat for both teams ... It is a truth, the circumstance leading to it is what abrogates the factor ... But a lot of them flip a switch .... Hence my "what if???"

Hayi guys I watched this show again and I really don't find it entertaining at all as a reality show. #NoHate but yesterday I ended up tuning to 1000 Ways To Die.

I've watched a couple of episodes and I don't get the excitement or drama that comes with a reality show.

I also saw a couple of tweets 2 weeks ago saying that it had a good start but with each episode it was starting to become a yawn. I feel the same way.

So, like Nonhle what what, Imma stop whining and complaining and stop watching. lol

I once watched Stevel on Sisterhood, the guy is just high on life. He was just so happy. Idris Elba has gotten rave reviews for his acting in the new series called Luther. All I see is all of you talking about Daddy's little girls and Obsessedl, well I've been down with him since his days on The wire, that's way before Daddy's little girls and Obsessed. So basically I saw him first, in the word of one Jill Scott, you better back down before you get smacked dowwn!

even dis thing ya bo of embarassing their parents by forcing em to speak English on National TV when the show is prerecorded and subtitles can b provided does not sit well with me

hayi maddie the parents do speak zulu most of the time. sometimes they mix with english. the twinz speak english with each other and with their siblings. The parents are not forced to speak anything yhiri!

There will always be haters nje ............bottom line is this is a reality show and all reality shows are the same . I love the show I think its way better then some Hollywood reality shows . And another thing I never use to like these gals they were just irrelevent , the show made me like them .

I think it is a matter of opinion of whether the show is boring or not, and are ugly twinz or not, I like the show. If I don't like something, I tend to steer clear of it.

@Maddie ... It really gets pathetic when parents twang also ... Out of tune! The use of English is a acceptable to me only because it is a compromise and not a requirement. My children will never get that point. Sad part is they use huge language no undestqnding it and refuse to improve their knowledge and education ... When their cousins show up , I just hang my head, turn my music up a little louder and enjoy Bryan Adams screeching just a little more!

I didn't enjoy this episode nomatter how hard I tried. The Stevel/Hlelo "Scene" was way too long. I kept witching channels hoping that it will be over but it took half of the show. There was nothing entertaining about it and it actuially made the show look silly and more scripted than it does when the girls pretend to spontaneous think of things to disagree on on each episode. I still find the show "cute" and will be tuning in on Monday. More Fortune, less setup moments for drama because it's starting to show Ntando's true colours ((hides)) Still love you both girls :)
