We’ve known some of these celebs for a long time and we have seen some of them since the days they started in this industry. We have read a lot about them from their careers to their private lives. Some of them we somehow know about their private lives even though it might be none of our business but still we want to know who their partners are.
There are those we have read about who they are dating, who they have broke up with and who they are now hooked up with. Finally at the end some of them celebs we read about their lavish, beautiful weddings in magazines, newspapers and watch them on Top Billing, e.g. Mandoza. Now I’m wondering are these following celeb man amaBachelor for life or maybe sooner we might hear wedding bells. Okay here is the list of some SA male celebs who are still Bachelors (not married) in their late 30s and early 40s.
Arthur Mafokate
The king of Kwaito has been in this industry for a long time. He started this Kwaito thing with his fellows. We have read a lot about this man from his music career achievements to his private life.
He was in an open relationship with Queen aka Iyaya the mother of his daughter, Owami. I loved them and I thought by now they would have been a married couple and make more music together. But they had a very confusing brake up. I still don’t know what was the cause of it coz there where many stories.
Now King Arthur is still a bachelor. Well he is not married as far as we know. He was rumoured to be dating his artist, Chomee who started as his dancer at the age of 12 when Arthur was maybe in his late twenties. Last time I read his girls Chomee and Pale were fighting for his attention.
Will Arthur ever get married konje how old is he? That is the million dollar question that everyone would love to hear an answer to coz no one seems to be sure about this man’s age and he doesn’t age not one bit.
Nimrod Nkosi
Former Jam Alley presenter now Lotto man, I hear he is also on Soweto TV. By the way a friend of mine once said to me she suspects that this man is happy judging from what she sees on Soweto TV. Anyway I would like to believe that Nimrod is in his 40’s now if not approaching them. Will he ever tie the knot? I remember a long time ago reading that he was in a relationship with Babalwa Mneno then came a story of a woman claiming he’s the father of her twins was that even true? Apparently Babalwa Mneno broke up with Nimrod after that or because of that.
Ishmael
This is one artist who has been in three groups already in his music career. He was part of the group Skeem then Collabo now he is a member of JOZI. Ish looks like a sweet guy I must say. I remember when there was noise after he said at RGB’s first season launch, that kids must not use drugs they must give them to him. And I was watching that episode and I laughed it off coz I understood that the guy was joking. I was shocked when there were headlines about it and the guy had to explain himself. I was like yoh anything you say can be turned into an issue.
Anyway will he ever tie the knot anytime soon? A long time ago he was dating Siphokazi January former SABC1 Ya Mampela presenter before she dated Zola. Now there are rumours that he is dating American singer now wannabe SA citizen, Puff Johnson. Will they tie the knot maybe lol?
Zizi Kodwa
This man has become a celeb or popular by night. Before President Zuma became a President I didn’t know this man. He is the President’s speaker and he is also known for throwing big parties in lavish places and he is quite popular with them ladies too. Last year he threw a big birthday party for his 40th birthday. There were celebs everywhere. In one of his parties the President’s message to him was to get a wife.
Last Saturday I was listening to Sbu’s show were Sbu was interviewing Zizi asking him when is he getting married I lol’d when he replied “with who Sbuda mfethu lol” and Sbu lol’d too. After that I thought, what is he implying by his question? That there are no potential wives these days or maybe he is asking because there is no special lady in his life, well…
Mahoota
This man is very good at what he does which is producing hits every year that get everyone dancing at parties, night clubs, at his Spring bash event e.t.c. I have never read or heard anything about Mahoota’s private life. I always read about his music career.
I’ve never read a story of a woman claiming he is the father of her kid or those papgeld stories. I always wonder how other celebs do it. I mean keeping their private life private. Anyway Mahoota turned 40 or 50 years old last year he threw a big birthday bash that was attended by many celebs. Now I wonder when is he going to throw that Top Billing type of a wedding.
Doc Shebeleza
He has been in this game for a very long time. He is known for always singing about amantombazana. Now he is a chairman of AMAHA, which is a good cause by some SA artist. I think he is doing a good job there. He should consider sticking to that now and retire from producing music. I think uqhatso ulufezile (he has done his bit). His music does not do it anymore. He ends up looking like a ridiculous old man. Anyway is he married because I have never heard anything about him having a wife? Konje how old is he?
Zola
He is not that old. He is 35 years old but I just wonder will Zola ever get married since we all know he is a ladies man. Do you think he will ever be committed to one woman that would be his wife? I don’t think so he will have to prove me wrong.
We know Zola love girls and girls love him too. I am sure there are many girls who would love to date Zola even after the ex-girlfriends stories we’ve heard about him. Even though we cannot be sure that are all those stories are true. I can’t wait for the day to see Zola standing at the altar (whatever it is that a groom stands at) waiting for his future wife to walk down the aisle to say “I do”.
