When a child is twisted in her adulthood stages and continues to make decisions which only give her pleasure when she inflects pain and mayhem to others. You know that there is some serious issues going on and Veskopies must be on speed dial.
This brings me to the scene on Muvhango between a mother and child.
I believe strongly that there are people who can’t do anything positive in life, they are like the murders and rapists of this world only they are the blue collar versions. By the way
"an anti-rape device which chops off the tip of a rapist's penis has been invented by a retired anaesthetist in the Free State, South Africa. Just a thought or should I say developments.
When you speak to crime scene profiler's, you will be amazed at how they will map out the kind of person who would be so low as to find it satisfying to connive and lie in order to hurt, destroy and even damage people lives or reputations.
Muvhango used to be a great show when it was weekly, and since I am focusing on a particular scene I will refrain from giving a detailed analysis and will leave that for later. For now the focus is on Meiki and her mother.
For those who may wonder what "they have done" refers to. It seems Meiki and her step brother, Pheko, have been doing the tango and they are now pregnant. In reality this messes children up... and you wonder why CMAX is so packed!
Everyone I spoke to when researching this blog agreed that Meiki is twisted and does represent a growing number of young ladies who are lost and continue to create a salvo of problems for people in their families and outside. One lady, Jane Sanders, even said, the Meiki’s of this world are all over, she claimed she can even point them out from a mall because as she puts it “they are lost and they will act like devils and attempt to destroy other people’s lives whilst acting as if they are normal and have the best time”
Grunted I was completely surprised but not entirely shocked. I always thought that people with no morals, principles and a brain cell to bump together, who act as if they understand the words they read or speak, are the ones you should be careful of. But it seems Meiki is all over the show these days, even the lady at Pick ‘N Pay may just be the next Meiki or that girl you saw at Virgin Active this morning looking all hot and sexy, could very well be Meiki.
But instead of this being a social responsibility observation, its more of a scandalous observation on Muvhango which involves culture, tradition, decency and a degree of offensive levels only understood by certain people and detested by a few more than the show realizes. However, I think it is necessary that the show raise this issue. Some guys are reported to be raping thier grannies whilst others physical and verbally abuse thier parents.
.
After all that, what do you think. Do you think Meiki was correct in addressing her mother in this manner?
A blogger on TVSA wrote a very interesting comment which reads
“The boy comes from a middle class family and I put the blame squarely on his mother. She taught him to be so manipulative and she allowed him to do whatever and but she never let him take any responsibility.” WhiteSockGirl. To read more on that

Lets not forget that Meiki "found" Pheko first and the mother snagged the father later on, and they went on to get married! Did this push her to this degree, also she fainted at her mothers wedding because she could not take Pheko being her brother.
Parents make mistakes but an adult women should know that and be able to deal with her issues without falling pregnant to prove a point and making her mother and everyone hurt. There is a more dignified way of talking to your parents about your issues without addressing them like one of your friends who stole your boyfriend. It is interesting how embarrassing this is, when you look at it from a real life perspective.
Do you think her being pregnant by her step brother was the right thing to do? Your cultural or traditional point of view considered, even if you don’t have one, your personal opinion does matter, so share.
Being pregnant is a result of having sex (obviously), which means they were doing the tango all along. I consider that to be sick...imgine having sex with your stepsister. I guess its better than shagging your half sister. Ewe all round! I know they dated before their parents hooked up and married, but does it make it right?
Would you do the same if you were either a man (Pheko) or women (Meiki), to your parents?
I had a friend who had a real life Meiki situation. But the thing is that he dated this girl whom he loved and she was a devil and he could not see it until he decided to end the relationship. Man….. hell came to earth in a fury, and it was so sad because he loved her but hated knowing who she really was. I think he even wanted to marry the devil. I remember him saying
“I think she is psycho because some screws seem loose and I am concerned”
Is jy klaar?” vra ek. Ek sal jou moer!'
Ek sluit jou so ver weg waar nie eers die vliege op joou sal k......k!
Ek is jou ma!
I don't know about you guys, I can never speak to either of my parents in this manner. I think I will be admitted with multiple wounds. We don't even raise our voices at my parents house. Its so quite, you feel like you are intruding. I believe that, parents even when they are wrong must be respected. You can find better ways of addressing your issue with them. After they are your parents.
Have you had a Meiki experience in your life, either personally or socially?
