Due to technical problems, we were not able to access yesterday’s nomination site. We do not know anything about who nominated and who got the most nominations.
This is the error that kept on appearing every time on of our laptops and we even had to try other computers and platforms (Mac, PC, Linux). We still had the same problem. The error reads:
Response object error 'ASP 0251 : 80004005'
Response Buffer Limit Exceeded
/default.asp, line 0
Execution of the ASP page caused the Response Buffer to exceed its configured limit.
This could be a result of the volume of posts/votes cast by loyal fans and supporters of the Love Series. We strongly apologies for this and we would like to note that our team has been working on this patiently since 14h00pm until 11h50pm. We did email and send a PM to Tashi regarding this issue. The reply was
“not able to access anything, either logged in, logged out or from the database”. Tashi
This competition has received an overwhelming amount of support and solicited a review of The Observer and its future. We trust that those who’ve voted for their best interview will realize that The Observer team did their best to ensure that this process is transparent and fair. Unfortunately two interviewees have withdrawn from the competition and both had the highest votes with a combined total of 7,009. This allowed the remaining highest rated candidate to be crowned the winner of this seasons Love Series.
Ladies and gentlemen by 3,171 nominations for The TV Observer’s Love Series
Most importantly The Observer thanks the dedicated people who voted for all candidates. BigMama, Suzzy82 and many more readers whom we've seen their comments and the new ones. Thank you guys. You have made this competition a success. Over 16,000 votes cast.
However, we discovered something amazing to us, about the winner of the competition. It really made us have a song dance moment. So we had to share.
The Lady’s interview had the highest views of all the other interviews with a total of 649 readers. This is the actual interview not the nominatioins. Her interview has the highest reader numbers in the entire series followed closely by Centrepiece at 615 and LM at 594. Both The Lady and Centrepiece also had the highest number of replies at 68 each
This prompted a walk down memory lane.
Extract from the winners interview:What would you say was the most painful thing in this situation which you did? It’s hurting a pregnant chick. I wouldn’t want someone to do that to me.
What is the most memorable thing about being with him?The weekends are the ones we spent together anyway: we partied and went to the nicest places like holidays etc.
What would you advice men on this situation to avoid the hurt and pain?Be honest from the start I think with “playaz”; asking them to be one women man is just asking for the impossible so be honest about your game and then we can all play nobody gets hurt
