The communist league are on a band wagon of the ANC. SACP will not be contesting the elections next year therefore it is irrelevant to have them debate issues with the parties that will be contesting the elections.

Choose the youth league of the parties that will be contesting the elections next year. Will definitely watch Purely for the entertainment and nothing worth of substance will come out from the SACP since they are not contesting the elections.

they were asked to comment on their positions with regard to certain issues such as crime, education, economy etc and the angry dude kept on repeating everything that the YCL is saying or has been saying. There's nothin new i heard about this new formation. He was contradicting himself by saying they've not been in government so they cant state a certain position but at the same time on other issues he would say "for the past ten years, we've been advocating for this issue" and i was like WTF???

lol....no i know imvelaphi yam' so i wont be confused by what i felt about recent developments.....i think this country needs a strong opposition cause i'm against a one-party state....so i thought they would bring something new to the table but its all about personal ambition...no new policy or new direction i'm hearing from these guys as for uHlomla.....he broke my trust and of the people by making babies all over the place...i wonder what would be Ms Mda's take on that

Sobza, there is Zuma and there is the ANC. They are different, one is a person the other an organisation made up of millions of people. Zuma is president of the ANC, he is NOT the ANC. Mugabe is president of Zim but that doesn't mean all Zimbos love him and agree with everything he does.

it is very interesting to read all the comments, the show wasn't that bad.

There is no need for name calling, you can have different views and still be civil.

as for Anele's sister please, just because she HIV people doens't mean that they are not going to fight. Before we judge lets here the whole story.

There is a lot of bickering but no one is convincing me to vote for them. I do not belong to any political party but 1 thing for sure, i will vote 2009.

I have watched the show and I was not impressed with the YCL. I expected that from the YCL guy. On the question of education, his reply was that it is not important until such time it is provided for free. COPE's answer was impressive. He said that in this century that we are in there should be no excuse for one not to have an education.

On the whole COPE guy did outsmart the YCL and THAT is my opinion. 3rd degree should not waste any of the viewer’s time by inviting the YCL to the show to debate issues since they are not contesting the elections on their own.

Come Dec 16 and see which leaders are chosen and which policies come out then from the COPE and I will judge them on that.
