Aimee Teegarden is an American actress best known for her starring role as Julie Taylor in the football drama series Friday Night Lights, from 2006-2011.

She made her screen acting debut in 2003, in an episode of the television drama series Cold Case entitled "Churchgoing People" (Season 1, Episode 4).

Her next role was in the 2005 feature film Sailing For Madagascar. She followed that up with a guest appearance in the kids show Hannah Montana in 2006, after which she landed her role in Friday Night Lights.

During her run on FNL she made a guest appearance in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and acted as the questioner to Miss Teen South Carolina 2007, Lauren Caitlin Upton, in the now infamous moment from Miss Teen USA 2007.

Her first lteading film role was as Elenore Dare in the horror film For Sale By Owner, in 2009. Other films she has acted in include Call of the Wild and The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll (both in 2009) and Scream 4 and Prom, both in 2011.

She also has a starring role as Emery Whitehill, a Human teenage girl who has fallen in love with Roman, an Atrian, and who is fighting not only for her love for Roman, but for equality for the Atrians, in the science fiction teen drama television series Star-Crossed.

Teegarden was born and raised in Downey, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.
