Amy Mathews is an Australian actress best known for her role as Rachel Armstrong in the Australian soap opera Home And Away, appearing in the role since 9 February 2006.

Mathews was born in Melbourne, although she has spent most of her life in Sydney. She studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia after winning a scholarship. She also studied at the Actors' Centre in Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia.

She has previously held guest roles in Seven Network series such as Always Greener, All Saints and Blue Heelers. She also played the character of Mel in FOX8's Love Bytes.

She joined the cast of Home And Away in 2006 as Rachel Armstrong, a psychiatrist and friend of long-term Summer Bay resident Leah Patterson Baker (Ada Nicodemou).

She makes her feature film debut in the role of Maggie in the Australian film Gabriel, which is slated for release sometime in 2007.
