Bio

Ruta Gedmintas is a Lithuanian-born English actress known for her work on British television, primarily in Spooks: Code 9, The Tudors, Lip Service and The Borgias.

she also had a starring role as Olivia Flynn, the ex-love interest of Dr. Jason Cole/Ian Price (Steven Pasquale), in the short-lived television drama series Do No Harm, in 2013.

Gedmintas starred in the BBC's hit drama Lip Service. She filmed a guest lead role on the BBC series Ripper Street and also had recurring roles in the Showtime hit series The Tudors and The Borgias.

On the big screen, Gedmintas' credits include Tonight You're Mine, Exteriors and Atletu.

On stage, Gedmintas played the lead role of Astrid Kirchherr in the original West End production of Backbeat. She trained at Drama Centre London and currently resides in London, England.
