Bio

DeAnna Pappas is an American TV personality best known for her participation in the reality dating shows The Bachelor 11, and The Bachelorette 4.

The second of three children, DeAnna was born in Marietta, Georgia, and shortly thereafter moved to Kentucky with her mother and siblings.

When she was 12 she lost her mother to cancer before relocating with her brother, Thomas, and sister, Chrissy, to Newnan, Georgia, to live with her father.

Pappas was vice president of her class both junior and senior years of high school and played softball. After high school she attended Georgia Military College and received a degree in General Studies.

From there, Pappas attended the Gaddy's School where she earned her real estate license. She practiced real estate at Keller Williams Realty Connections in Newnan, Georgia.

In 2007, DeAnna auditioned for The Bachelor, a reality competition dating game show. She made it to the final rose ceremony, where bachelor Brad Womack famously rejected both finalists (the other was Jenni Croft).

Having been a fan favourite on The Bachelor, DeAnna was invited to star in the fourth season of The Bachelorette. The news was broken to her by Ellen DeGeneres when DeAnna was a guest on her daytime talk show.

Since The Bachelor, DeAnna has appeared on such shows as EXTRA, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel, Good Morning America, Hollywood 411, TV Guide Channel, and many more.

In 2008, she was nominated and won the Reality Performer of the Year at the FOX Reality Awards.

DeAnna now resides in Los Angeles, where she still is following her quest for love and most importantly is making all her dreams come true.

She is currently the co-host of Get Married, a wedding reality show on Lifetime.
