Jennifer Love Hewitt is an American actress best known for her role as Sarah Reeves in the television teen drama Party Of Five, and for her leading role as Julie James in the 1997 horror films I Know What You Did Last Summer and its 1998 sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.
She reprised her role as Sarah Reeves in the Party Of Five spin-off series Time Of Your Life, appearing in all 21 episodes of the show.
In 2005 Hewitt landed her third major role in a television series, playing Melinda Gordon in the supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer. She played the role for five seasons and 107 episodes, until it ended in May 2010.
Other television shows she has appeared in include Boy Meets World, Saturday Night Live and American Dreams.
Other movies she has appeared in include Little Miss Millions (1993); Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993); Can't Hardly Wait (1998); Heartbreakers (2001); The Tuxedo (2002); Garfield (2004); and If Only (2004).
To date, she has released four albums with some success, most notably in Europe and Japan. Her first album was released in Japan, where she is widely considered a pop star. |
