Actor Biography


Nicholas Turturro is an American actor best known for his role as Officer/Det. James Martinez in the television series NYPD Blue.

He also had recurring roles on the series Tremors and Third Watch.

He has had guest starring roles in the following shows:

He wrote and executive produced the 2006 made-for-TV movie The Doorman.

Turturro also appeared in the fourth season of the VH1 reality show Celebrity Fit Club which ran from August 6 to October 1, 2006. He lost 22lbs (almost 10 kilograms).
