Actor Biography


Daniel Gillies is a Canadian-born New Zealand actor best known for his role as John Jameson in Spider-Man 2, a role he will reprise in Spider-Man 3.

He has also appeared in the movies No One Can Hear You (2001); Various Positions (2002); Trespassing (2004); Bride & Prejudice (2004); and Captivity (2007); and in the 2002 made-for-TV movie Snow Queen.

He has had recurring roles in the television series Street Legal and Jeremiah, and guest appearances on Cleopatra 2525; Mentors; and Master Of Horror.

He also had a role in the 2005 mini-series Into The West.

Gillies has been married to actress Rachael Leigh Cook since 14 August 2004. They appeared together in Into The West.
