Gbenga Akinnagbe is an American actor best known for his television roles as Yinka in Barbershop (2005) and as gangster Chris Partlow in The Wire, from 2004-2008.

Gbenga is a first generation American who was born and grew up in Washington DC. His parents and older sister were born in Nigeria. He's the second eldest of six children.

He went to Bucknell University on a wrestling scholarship and graduated with a degree in Political Science and English.

Other significant television roles include Pastor Isaiah Easton on The Good Wife and Kelly Slater on Nurse Jackie. He has also made guest appearances on Numb3rs, Cold Case, Fringe, Law & Order: SVU, Dark Blue, Blue Bloods and Chase.
