Bio
Christel van den Bergh is a South African actress best known for her starring roles on kykNET soapies, including her role as Lorraine in Villa Rosa and as Renate in Getroud Met Rugby: Die Sepie.
She was previously known for her role as Ansie Retief, a drug-addicted teen, in the kykNET murder mystery drama series Plek van die Vleisvreters (2004).
Other television series she has acted in include Gabriel, Egoli, 7de Laan, Generations, Laugh Out Loud and Binnelanders.
Born and raised in Pretoria, she studied drama at the Pretoria Technikon, graduating in 2003.
In 2009 she was one of the SANBS (South African National Blood Service) Celebrity Ambassadors, a widescale campaign to promote blood donating services.
