M-Net has renewed Survivor South Africa for a sixth season and entries are open for Survivor lovin' contenders who want an adventure in 2018.

According to M-Net, the series is looking for:

- Players who are fans of the local and international series,

- Players who have what it takes to survive the harsh conditions of a remote island,

- Players who are ready to create f!reworks in their tribes and win the game with their unique, strategic gameplay.

The prize

R1-million.

The auditions

The initial round of auditions are happening online so you need to get your video vibez on if you want a spot on the island.

Alternatively, you can write a motivation as an entry but the show would prefer a video so we recommend that you do this instead.

You need to be 18 years old or over as at 30 November 2017.

Here's an overview of the entry process:

How to enter: Option 1

STEP ONE: You need a full-length photo of yourself.

STEP TWO: Make a video or write a motivation of 200 to 300 words. (A video is preferred)

STEP THREE: Fill out the application form on M-Net's website and upload your photo and video here.

STEP FOUR: Entries close on 26 November 2017. The show will be in touch if they want to see you for an audition.

You'll find further details, with tips for your video and pic, on M-Net's Survivor site here: Survivor South Africa entries and guidelines.

How to enter: Option 2

If you struggle to submit your entry online, you can get assistance in the real world at three venues during November.

M-Net will be hosting entry booths at these venues where you can get assistance with your online entry:

 New Beach, Durban North
