Season 2

The entire first-season cast of Rita Rocks will return — plus one! The cast will be expanding, as Nicole Sullivan's pregnancy will play an integral part in the Season 2 storyline.

In the series, Sullivan plays Rita Clemens, an overworked wife and mother, who struggles to balance her life as she runs her household, plays in a band, works at her job, cares for her kids and expects a newborn.

In addition to Sullivan, Rita Rocks stars Richard Ruccolo as Rita's husband, Jay, and Tisha Campbell-Martin as her friend and bandmate, Patty. Natalie Dreyfuss and Kelly Gould costar as Rita's daughters, and Raviv Ullman portrays her teenage daughter's ever-present boyfriend, Kip.

Sullivan stars as Rita Clemens, a wife and mother who was once the lead singer of a Bangles cover band. Rita traded a life in rock clubs for carpools and the PTA.

With the hope of getting a little bit of the old Rita back, she forms a garage band with postal carrier Patty (Campbell-Martin), unemployed neighbour Owen (guest star Ian Gomez) and her daughter's boyfriend Kip (Ullman).

Rita Rocks is produced by Media Rights Capital for Lifetime Television. Stan Zimmerman and James Berg are executive producers.
